I know a lot of people are doing Netfilks now but
When you do rent a movie or before you got NF
Where is your favorite place to go??? :Pinkbounc

Hmmm noone rents movies anymore??

:rotfl2: LOL I know thats not true Because I work at a viedo store :rolleyes1

I don't rent. I don't think I've ever rented a movie... :confused3 But I buy my movies at hastings.

Netflix,
but if I HAVE to rent, it would be Hollywood Video............ :thumbsup2

I'm an oddball because I have no problems with my Blockbuster. But then we rent a lot of PS2 games and I don't know of a better place for that.

I stopped renting movies years ago. I have several dozen cable channels and a DVR, and I have quite a few DVDs that I enjoy(mostly Disney). :)

NETWORK VIDEO....5 movies for $6.35! They'll get my business for the oldies everytime. I go to HOLLYWOOD VIDEO for the newbies as their rental time is longer on new ones. 5 days for them whereas Network is only 1 day.

isnt it funny! I love it...I had to watch SNL for a show I was doing and I always rent SNL when im there so I walk in and my new friend Carl just goes "which one is it this time Dunph?" we should toss a cafe in there...hmmm...I think you should go work at hastings and i can go work at blockbuster...they already know us there!

I haven't been in a store in 6+ months... probably close to a year... We LOVE Netflix!

About a year ago, a Movie Gallery came into our town. Prior to that, The Bookstore (yeah, they sell books too) had little competition, so that's where we'd go. Since the Movie Gallery has come in though, The Bookstore must have been losing a lot of business (not ours though), so they lowered the price to $0.99 per day for all their videos. So, for $1.06, you can rent the newest DVDs available, or the oldest.

I have gone back and forth between Netflix and the stores.

For me, with two small children, Netflix does not really work, they don't want to wait a day or so to get the movie.

We rent from Hollywood Video, it is a neighborhood store, where they know me and my children, so they get my loyalty.

I used to be a loyal Blockbuster fan. Would always rent from there, all through HS and college, that was my store. Then, I ended up working at a Hollywood Video for about 9 months back in 2002/2003 and since then I barely walk into Blockbuster anymore and I pretty much just rent from Hollywood (and not the one I worked at, I've moved cross country since then). I do their MVP plan where you pay $15 a month for up to 3 movies at a time. Only downfall is that brand new releases aren't included (but are after a few weeks of release) and that you still have to pay late fees. So, Hollywood all the way.

Family Video , i pay 10.00 a month and get half price movies and video games .
