What is your favorite Use Year ?

We travel all times of the year to WDW and mostly book studios so the two use year's being June and March don't matter much.

It helps not having a favorite resort as well. We book what is available.

We have an August use year. Our DVC guide recommended it when we told him we would most likely never come in the summer. FL is too hot for us from May - September and having a banking deadline of March 31st works perfectly, since we don't usually come after mid April anyways.

We have an Oct UY and it works for us. Our two big / main trips are usually sometime between Feb and April and then Thanksgiving or Christmas each year. We have walking flexibility and don't like bigger WDW trips during the summer. Banking window is perfect. If we did end up with points stuck in a UY because of an oopsie or cancellation, I feel like we could easily rent them over the summer quickly before they expire.

However, I find OCT hard to find on resale and usually more expensive.

I also seem to always have waitlists going. lol So, I am currently considering a 2nd UY and am loving reading everyone's "reasons" on this thread! Leaning toward either Feb (use contracts separately - 1 for each big trip) or September (pretty much all the benefits of Oct for our current usage).

We also have a WDW CM daughter, so we visit a lot in between these trips, but we don't do DVC for most of them.
