Hi! I am needing to buy sunscreen for all of us for our upcoming June trip, kids include a 5-year-old and a 1-year-old. What is your favorite sunscreen to use for Disney trips? It would be a huge bonus if I could find one that wasn't as greasy as they usually are, or as stinging if it gets in your eyes. Have several in our group who burn easily, so I know it will be important for us to keep up with the sunscreen. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Kinesys

Comes in a spray bottle, not too greasy, packs small, no parabens.

It's the only kind I use

2 very fair, red-headed kids = Coppertone spray seems to work better than anything else, especially the blue-bottled Sport. Believe me, we've tried everything!

My DH uses bullfrog religiously since it seems to work the best for his fair skin. I use neutrogena and so does my DS2. When he was baby I used a neutrogena baby sunscreen and Burt's Bees baby bee sunscreen stick on his face.

If they can stand the cold spray, we use the Coppertone Sport Cool Zone spray. It is not greasy at all and doesn't seem to come off real easy (my son swims competitively so we are at the pool a lot in the summers).

We use aveeno natural protection or neutrogena baby on our 3 year old. Lotion for the body and the face stick for her face and ears. The stick is just awesome for the smaller kids and stays put really well so she doesn't rub it in her eyes.

My husband and I really like a neutrogena spray for ourselves that's called sport or cooling or something like that. We are from the north and this stays on quite well in the south and we don't find it greasy. (I am quite pale and haven't burned at all wearing this and I am not good about reapplying.

I use Target's Up & Up spray for their body and Neutrogena pure and free sunblock stick for their faces. My two year old has sensitive eyes like me, so that's what works best on her face especially. On babies, I use Aveeno Baby.

noAD. It's cheaper than everything else, and works just as well for us...me and kids are all fair skinned, my husband tans a gorgeous color, that stinker :rotfl2:

Blue lizard. Dd1 and I are fair skinned freckles girls and we never burn. It's a bit thicker than others and takes some rubbing in but works great.

Coppertone for DH and DS.
But even if they don't use it, they don't burn. They just get dark golden. :confused3

I can only use Neutrogena. Everything else makes me break out horribly (psoriatic arthritis/plaque psoriasis). And if I miss a spot, I burn.

Another vote for Blue Lizard... a good rating on the EWG list, recommended by our pediatrician and it works great.

I hate greasy feeling sunscreen. I've had luck with Water Babies Pure & Simple, as well as Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby. I basically stick with physical blocker sunblock. I miss the convenience of the continuous spray though.

We really like BurnOut Kids (great ratings from EWG) and are trying TruKids this year. If I don't love TruKids (also had great ratings on EWG and Amazon) then we'll go back to BurnOut.

And we're not necessarily fair skinned but I worry my daughter might burn easily (and I don't want to find out).

I highly recommend stick for kids's faces. Doesn't run into their eyes and my kids prefer the feel of it over lotion. I have tried a bunch of them because we use them every day year around. Purple prairie is our favorite--I buy from their website. Good EWG rating, wide stick and easy to rub in. (We hated TruKids stick, btw, very white and gluelike). California baby is my second choice in sticks and it is more widely available.

For lotion Blue lizard is my favorite. Purple prairie's lotion is also good for us, but I think Blue Lizard seems to work better/stay on better in water.

I always use the Target Up brand for all of us.

Last year my husband came home with it, and I was so afraid to use it. It was so much cheaper than others it can't be good. Evidently I was wrong, I love it and already have 3 sprays and the sticks already in use this summer!!!
