I love the rides and the big shows just as much as the next person believe me, but I am looking for things that are great just not as popular, like Belle's Story time hour in MK. I have never done it before, but have heard raves at how nice it is and it is on our Definate things to do. Anyone have any others they want to suggest?

I LOVE the small things at Disney! Let's see, I really enjoy:
*Belle's Storytime- If I get tired, I like to sit and watch the show. It's really cute and the kids are adorable.
*Main Street Trolley Show- It really gets me upbeat. The song is very catchy.
*Frontierland Hoedown- This is a blast! It's a lot of fun to get picked to do. I'm very good at promenading (??). For all you square dancing folks, I think I spelled this wrong, but you know what I mean!
*The Sword in the Stone show- This is fun to watch. Merlin goes around and picks a kid out of the audience to "pull" the sword out of the stone.
*The World Showcase in Epcot- I liked walking around all the countries. They were very interesting.
There are more, but this is good for starters.

I love the band that plays in MGM, Mulch, Sweat, n' Shears. They play popular rock songs, and are really good. And the keyboard player isn't too bad on the eyes either... :flower3: heh heh. They play on New York Street or the Streets of America...one of those...

And I love the street performers MGM. Especially the comedy ones. They are corny, but so funny! :rotfl2:

hmmm... the little things... there are so many of them...

1. Belle's story time is great, you'll get a kick out of that
2. Hoop-dee-doo review (Dinner show)
3. Riding up front in the monorail
4. Face painting for the children or young at heart. (located in toontown and by the "who wants to be a millionaire" ride in MGM)
5. Eating at the garden grille in "The Land" - it rotates slowly as you eat.
6. If you have kids, visiting the kidcot stations in the worldshow case
7. The science area after Journey Into Imagination. You can do some neat things with photos and lights, etc.

If I think of any more I'll post them

1. My favorite is watching Mykumi (the candy lady) work at the Japanese pavillion at Epcot. She is mezmorizing.
2. MGM has some great comedy street acts. One in particular I liked was a wise cracking, card trick performer.
3. I dont know if they are still there, but, At the China pavillion at Epcot there were a group of young kids that did all sorts of balancing acts while spinning and tossing around plates. They were simply amazing.

I have been to MK several times, but the last time we were there, we got off Buzz Lightyear and there was a talking trashcan. I have never seen this before. It was hysterical. I turn around and my four year old is talking to this trash can. I thought either he or I was cracking up! :rotfl2: There must be a camera inside it because he was telling my son he liked his Buzz Tshirt and my son is telling him what Santa was going to bring him. We did every ride and every show in the MK, but all my son can talk about is the talking trashcan that he met in the MK!

We saw the acrobat troupe in Harambe and a juggling act in Dinoland one day last August at AK. Both were outstanding and worth the time. In general, I think any live entertainment at WDW is great. (totally agree about Mulch, Sweat & Shears!)

Also in AK, Flights of Wonder is not a blockbuster like Lion King, but we very much enjoy it everytime we go. :sunny:

Trashcan's name is "Push" - go figure! My DD5 chatted with the recycling can at AK (down in Rafiki's area). It totally freaked her out (her words!). She then proceeded to tell all the CM's about the can and how it freaked her out. A "lovely" CM proceeded to tell her about Push, near the Stitch ride. Gee, thanks! We were supposed to go back to MK the next day to ride Stitch. She wouldn't go and it was our last day!
I'm hoping that the memory will have faded by the next trip. I can't remember the name of the recycling can in AK, if anyone knows it can you please post it. Thanks!

The Jammitors in Epcot, TTA in MK, Discovery Island Trails in AK, and the Streetmosphere characters in MGM. I also love the Animal Training show of Pocohontas and Her Forst Friends (the Animal training show-I've never even seen the "regular" show).
