What is your favorite signature restaurant?

DW's is Jiko. I thought they were good, but loved Le Cellier's lunch in the past.

Flying Fish if we are only picking from those on the dining plan.

For us it's Flying Fish. We love the DxDDP, so have dined at all of them that accept the DDP. Flying Fish and Bomas are the only two that we'd pay for OOP and Flying Fish is the only one that's a must do every trip. It's the only Signature where we love all three courses (love their tomato/mozzarella salad, mussels, or cheese plate, for an entree we love their steak or scallops, and then love whichever dessert trio they are serving that night or else get a cheese plate for dessert)). If you like their type of food, we also like Artist Point's appetizers and entrees (but are not too fond of their desserts anymore since they changed the berry cobbler).

I've only eaten at 4, and if Le Cellier is counted (it wasn't when we ate there) it would be my favorite. The other three Jikos, Brown Derby, and CRT were all very good, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to any of them.

On our next trip, I'm hoping to try Artist Point and maybe California Grill. It depends on where we end up staying, and the overall budget for the trip.

out of V&A, Citricos, Brown Derby and California Grill:

V&A - no contest - the food was beyond belief. Worth every penny and then some.

among the 'regular' signatures, Citricos was outstanding - both the food and the service (the service was exceptional!!!).

Brown Derby was good, considering it's located in a theme park. But for lunch there were just too many people, which slowed down the service i would expect at a signature restaurant.

California Grill was horrifyingly bad - i wouldn't eat there again for free. Not even if they paid me.

Jiko is our favorite, but I haven't tried AP yet. We don't enjoy Yachtsmen and we will not return there.

We have eaten at Yachtsman's, Cali Grill, Narcoossee's and Artist Point. We really love Cali Grill not because we love the food there but you can't beat the view, it is a must do for us . The other signatures all come in a very close second.

Flying Fish and Citricos are on the tops of our list with restaurants that take the dining plan (Jiko and AP get honorable mention). Shula's and bluezoo are better but don't take the dining plan.

Overall (food + service + atmosphere): Jiko
I think it's just beautiful inside. Our servers have always been very gracious and unobtrusive. Food is unique and outstanding.

If I think about my favorite meal, that would have to be the filet mignon at Yachtsman. Wow! So good!

I asked DH for his favorite, and he said Cali Grill. :)

I always prefer Jiko ,.,
because its neat and clean and well decorated rooms also,.

For the most part, the "signature" restaurants were better before they had that designation, which I see as nothing more than a marketing ploy. I ignore the designations and simply eat where I will get a meal I will like.

DH and I give a resounding thumbs up to Citricos...the food was outstanding and the service was luxurious! :thumbsup2

Citricos. Great food and great service and atmosphere.

We have also done Yachtsman, Flying Fish, Hollywood Brown Derby, Narcoosees and Shulas.

We have been to Cali Grill and Brown Derby. I thought the food was just a tad better at Cali Grill. I was thinking about trying it again, but after reading all the comments here I think we will try Jiko or maybe Flying Fish.
