I enjoyed the worst experience thread but am interested in your best experience. It is very hard to choose but I will have to say Boma Breakfast. The pressed pot of coffee was perfect. We enjoyed all of the food. The atmosphere was really special. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly and made us want to return soon!

Artist Point has never failed to impress us. The food is incredible, and the service is stellar.

My favorite restaurant is... so hard to choose, but the only one that I've consistently enjoyed each and every trip has to be Trail's End in Fort Wilderness. The service is always outstanding and the food is terrific. I've never had a bad experience there.

For me, the relaxing vibe of Fort Wilderness just kind of makes the whole experience perfect. :goodvibes

I'm going to go out on a limb and choose a *gasp* - counter service restaurant! :teeth:

I just love Pizzafari. A few reasons why:

1. It's cool and colorful.
2. I actually LIKE the pizza - I really do.
3. I've never been unable to find a table.
4. It's cheap - or at least cheap for WDW. ;)

LOL! While Pizzafari isn't my absolute favorite, it's definitely right up there although I've never had their Pizza. But I do love their hot deli sandwich. And on a hot day, the frozen lemonade hits the spot!

It's hard to pick an absolute favorite.
For upscale-Jiko's
For people watching-Chefs de France at lunch
For dessert-French Bakery
For atmosphere-SciFi
For fun-Beaches and Cream (kitchen sink)

If we ignore the price of the meal, the best meal and service I've had at WDW was at the California Grill. We couldn't decide on a wine so our server brought over 4-5 bottles and let us sample each before we decided. The food was out of this world, and of course then you have the prime viewing area for the fireworks.

Gotta go with bicker on this one--AP is topnotch. The food is superb and the service tremendous. Plus, since we love staying at VWL, we can walk to AP in two minutes while there.

You know the CM that took my reservations asked me this today and I said Kona. We just really enjoyed it last time we were there. The kids loved the Kiddie Kone I loved my Mahi Mahi and DH loved his steak. But all time favorite experience was V&A with DH many moons ago.........

Fanciest Restaurant - Brown Derby. Most fun - 50s Prime Time. Most Ethnic experience - Marrakesh, Best View - Rose and Crown during Illuminations, Best counter service - Tusker House.

I absolutely love Artist point also. Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. We try to go every trip.

If I have to pick one is it Yachtsman Steakhouse. We have eaten there every trip since they opened in 91.

Crystal Palace....

Why?

because Tigger is there of course!!!

but also they do a mean buffet :stir:

I agree with the AP camp... it's always on our rotation for the food and the service!

I'll also have to add Jiko to the list. We had a most excellent meal and since we sat at the Cooking Place, we had excellent interaction with the chefs. We will be returning.

Fulton's at DD because they have a nice selection of shellfish and it's absolutely delicious!

Food wise and overall it was Spoodles.
Now our favorite atmosphere was the wishes seating of Ca Grill of course. Nothing can really compete with that.
Best Service it was Spoodles.
Best overall was Spoodles by a hair over CA Grill.

Great Portuguese seafood stew.
Great NY Strip.
Both Pastas are great too.
Our waiter was great. They were very flexible in working with us.
The Mediterranean dips are nice. Great if ordering an appetizer for the family. The shrimp appetizer is dinky, but delicious. A great dining plan appetizer. Not good at al if ordering one for the family. How to cut that in 4-6 portions would be one for the 3 stooges show.

We love it. I don't mind the menu changes.
Fried Calamari. No biggie.
Pork Chop. No biggie.
By the way those changes occured last summer.

I love Mama Melrose in MGM. The soup, salad, pasta.....flatbread....has all been wornderful! Great atmosphere to sit in away from the crowd. We go every time.

Our favorite is Yachtsman Steakhouse! Great food, great atmosphere, and the best service teams on property!!! One huge advantage of this 5 star restaurant is that our children have learned how to eat in an upscale restaurant without the pressure of it being too stuffy!

We are also fans of LeCellier, O'Hana's dinner, 50's Prime Time! For counter service, we like Columbia Harbor House! It just seems to make a trip for us!

We really like BOMA as well. However, we went to Ohana in March and the new menus is FAB so that would be up there too...Oh and Whispering Canyon Cafe. That was too fun.

:)

Our vote goes for CA GRILL! The view is superb and so is the food. I wait all year long for that oak fired filet! :thumbsup2
