We are going for the first time to Epcot in April. We like any and pretty much all kinds of food. I would like to make PS at one of the nicer restaraunts. Would love to hear your input.

Hi!

DH and I dined at San Angel Inn in Mexico and Teppanyaki in Japan. We really enjoyed Teppanyaki, we did that for lunch. As far as the San Angel Inn , I was a little disappointed in my meal, but the appetizer and dessert made up for it. The atmosphere also made up for it! How wonderful it was to be dining inside, but in an outside atmosphere. DH and I were seated near the river where the boat ride goes by and we had the view of the volcano and the Aztec temple in the background. OUTSTANDING!! We also had a yummy breakfast at The Electric Umbrella for quick eats. Saved a few bucks there as I knew lunch and dinner were going to cost a pretty penny. :p :o Visit Deb's site and check out the menus for EPCOT. That will help you make decisions also. It's how I decided where DH and I would dine when we visited in May of 2001. Best to you and let me know if you need any other suggestions.

My absolute favorite Epcot restaurant is Restaurant Marrakesh! Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and rarely crowded.

Restaurant Marrakesh is our #1 stop, closely followed by Le Cellier.

Restaurant Akershus buffet in Norway. It has a great selection of foods. Things are spiced a bit differently and fun to try. It is not a "nice" restaurant as in expensive and elegant.
Restaurant Marrakesh is great too. The food is good and the atmosphere is really great.

My favorite is LeCellier! :bounce:

We'll be dining there for Valentines day...all of our meals have ALWAYS been outstanding there... :)

It's funny though, you can ask 11 different people and get 11 different answers, so alot depends on what sort of atmosphere/food you're looking for.

Le Cellier, with Akershus an extremely close second!

I dont have a favorite restaurant, just counter service restaurants
Mexico - Place outside - canitina de san angel
China - place with the egg roll
UK - Fish and chips place

I would say my 'must go to' places at Epcot lately are Rose and Crown Pub or Akershus. We really enjoy both restaurants in France, Chefs de France and Bistro de Paris, but they are a little more formal and fancy.

We enjoyed Le Cellier and Rose and Crown - we will definitely return to both of these on our next trip!

Le Cellier for lunch or dinner!

Anne

Thanks for all the great ideas. I am going to Debs site now and check it all out. I wish I could find a picture of each restaraunt and what the buildings look like. I do not know that much about Epcot. The mexico restaraunt sounds very interesting and sounds fun. I will go and check all of the menues out. Thanks again!!:D :D :D :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

OK - I am too lazy to look up the names:

Canada - Le Cellier
France
Morocco

Our meals at all three have been excellent!

Don't know what my favorite is because we haven't tried them all yet! ;)

We have eaten at San Angel, Le Cellier, and Teppanyaki.

Loved San Angel (except for it being so crowded) and Le Cellier.

DIdn't care for Teppanyaki... the food was not worth the price at all. It wasn't even that good. Not worth it, IMO. Won't be back.

-Teppanyaki-I LOVE the steak and lobster combo and iced green tea. We always go here for lunch.
-Chefs de France is hit or miss-I really like the inside though.
-San Angel-nice atmosphere, can be too dark.
-Alfredo's-I like it here a lot, very friendly wait staff.
-Coral Reef is fun, mostly sea food.
-Garden Grill-only been for breakfast-ok-fun characters.

Have not tried Rose and Crown, Le Cellier, Akershus, Biergarten, or Bistro De Paris. We will be trying Marrakesh this next trip since we hear a lot of good things about it!
