And what is your favorite thing about that resort? So far mine is AKL, because that's the only place I've stayed on property! :) I loved sitting and watching giraffes browse while I waited for the rest of my party to join me for breakfast!

Hi,

I have a few faves!!
In order so far:
WL
AKL
POR

Allison

YC!!!
Close to EPCOT and MGM
Bus service was great!!! Bus stop was very close!
The friendliest Castmembers! Very helpful and nice.
Loved the decor and the size of the rooms
Loved the day bed in the room( we used it as a sofa since it was just the two of us)
Mousekeeping was great!!!!
Close to many restaurants
The view!!!!
This resort was just so US!!! That may be a big part of it. We stayed at the AKL and loved it but when we got here we just knew that this was the place for us. We like being on the water. Loved taking the boats... very relaxing!!
I thought this was a perfect resort for couples without children.( ok well my husband is just a big kid ... but you all know what I mean :D )

I love the Beach Club Villas. Same reasons as above. Plus I love the facilities, having a kitchen, more room etc. But most of all I love the relaxed atmosphere of the resort. Oh and the use of Stormalong Bay.

I've stayed at POR, Poly, and CR (once but too young to remember much). I definitly love the Poly the best but it's not in my price range now (i used to stay there with my family when...well...I was a spoiled child!). So, for now POR is my favorite resort!

Definitely AK

If for some reason I can't get there then it would be YC :cheer2:

My fave in order:
1. BCV
2. AKL
3. POR

DH's is OKW, far ahead of any others. Way back in second for him is POFQ. Fortunately I love Disney, so I like OKW. He's never stayed at BCV-that's my "solo" resort.

Of the ones we've stayed at (see below), my fave is Coronado Springs. Great pool, beautiful landscaping.

I really liked WL. I love the music when you walk in, it makes you feel like charging west! I also like waking up early in the morning and going down to the lobby and sipping hot coco by the fireplace. The theming is also a reason I like it.

WL - because I feel like I've come home the minute I step into the lobby. The charging music makes you feel like you can conquer all of WDW!
POFQ - Because it's quaint, it's small, and it's just plain cool

Just back from the Polynesian and it is definitely my favorite (I knew it would be! ;) ).
The view was amazing, the people were super-friendly, I loved the monorail, I loved the theming, well, I could go on and on. I haven't been that happy or relaxed in a long time. As oogieboogie said about WL (which I also really like), I felt like I was home when I walked into the Poly's lobby. :)

We loved the Beach Club...proximity to Epcot, the Sandcastle Club for my DD, close to ESPN club so my hubby could catch the game, the ladies at the concierge desk, the pool, Art the Greeter...I could go on and on.

It's so hard to choose!

It used to be BeachClub, hands down.....
But, since then I discovered the Swan, which a I adored. Same location, but those Heavenly Beds! Oh My! :cloud9:

But, I must say, the applecart really got tipped by my recent stay at the Grand Floridian, much to my suprise. I hade the most peaceful, wonderfully relaxing, indulgent stay there. I loved the location, the service, the atmosphere.....

I also had a surprisingly delightful stay at Coronado Springs - I wasn't prepared to love it as much as I did - But I'll tell you what - the price savings alone would have done quite a bit to sway my opinion - add to that great themeing, good recreation, good food choices, great service.....

Definitely the Grand Floridian. It's beautiful, convenient, and so relaxing. The first time we stayed there our kids were 2, 4 and 5 and I was a little apprehensive on how we would fit in, but the stay 7 pay for 4 was too great to pass up. THe kids love it and the CMs couldn't be nicer. We never felt out of place. Now when we arrive we feel like we're "coming home".

My wife and I have fallen into the BWV/BCV rut (not that it is a bad thing). We love how close we are to Epcot/MGM where we spend most of our Disney trips. We also love the Boardwalk itself. It is so nice coming back from a long day at the parks and just relaxing and watching the people going from A to B.

For our upcoming trip we are going to make a point to go and visit the WL which we have never even seen before. If it is as nice looking as the pictures I have seen we might have to try that for our next trip.
