If you could stay at ANY resort on site, with money never being an issue.. what resort would you pick and why? :p

Animal Kingdom.... how incredibly romantic and WHAT a unique experience to be able to sit on your balcony and look out at the savanna!!!

Close runner up would be Beach Club based on theming, close proximity to MGM, EPCOT, Boardwalk entertainment, and SAB.

WL, reminds me of our travels through the National Parks. Resort is secluded providing a nice break from the hustle of the parks. It is a true Lodge and never seems overly crowded with very good CM staff.

Dining, pools and theme match our lifestyle.

UH OH, I am torn between, YC, my first delux, WL my second Delux, BWI my 3rd deluxe the back to WL, I have also stayed at AKL. they all have special qualities in each of themI loved YC maybe cause that was my first de;uz, i don't know I liked them all differently:D

Not only would we stay at WL if money wasn't an issue, we'd live at the WL if we could!!

A tie - Contemporary and Swan - can't choose.

Right now I would say AKL ~ I loved it there and the concierge level was amazing.

I am hoping I like Beach Club as much or *more* but we will see... Stormalong Bay looks great though.

The GF is impressive and I think I would like to stay there to try it but it looks a bit frilly & feminine.

Disneymoon04 you took the words right out of my keyboard!

We stayed at both AK and BC during our last trip to Disney and I completely echo your thoughts. I spent HOURS sitting on the balcony at AK enjoying the animals. At BC it was nice to be able to stroll over to Epcot whenever we liked and Storm Along Bay is the best resort pool we have ever been to. Boy am I ever feeling nostalgic right now!

Well I havent stayed at that many as you can read at the bottom of my post but I vote on Wilderness Lodge. The whole place is very outstanding especially the lobby and pool with the stream that seems to run from the lobby. I really enjoyed being there. I would like to stay at the AKL which from the pictures I've seen the lobby is built similar to WL.

Without a doubt the Poly--I love it!! It is such a laid-back and relaxing resort. And the smell of the Great Ceremonial House, I'd live there forever if I could!!

I will always call the Swan home, but at some point in my life would like to try the following........

A room at the GF with a view of the lake.
A room at the WL just to experience it.
A room at Contemporary just to experience walking out and getting right on the Monorail. (No outbuilding for me!)

So at some point in my life I will hopefully do one of the above but in the meantime I will immerse myself in the wonderous Swan resort!

It would have to be the Polynesian Resort.....
With the relaxed laid back atmosphere, the Lapu Lapu drinks, the luau, the view of the castle, the beach, and that true Polynesian feeling, what could be better??

No matter where you stay, its always a great time!

If money were no object, I'd stay at anyone of the resorts with a big suite. It would be nice not sleeping with a children in my bed LOL
My kids would chose BC. Their favorite-- because of the pool.
My DH would choose an Epcot resort.:D

WL was my favorite and then we stayed at YC in 2002 and I fell in love...we also joined DVC that year...so now

My favorite is Beach Club Villas! We stayed in a 1 bdrm, but if money(or points) was not an object then it would be a 2 bdrm. I love being close to Epcot(my fav park). We had a great view of Illuminations and watched it every night:D

I just got back yesterday from 7nights at GF, and 3 nights at AKL....after seeing some other resorts, and having stayed at 3, my answer is GRAND FLORIDIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without a doubt... AKL!!!! I could spend hours on the balcony overlooking the savannah.

We've previously stayed at CBR, BCR, GF, the Poly and most recently OKW. I've enjoyed them all. I would have to say if money (or points) were no object I would love to stay in a Grand Villa at OKW. I love the laid back atmosphere and DH loves the fact that it doesn't seem "too Disney". The white picket fences and lush foilage plus being able to park in front of your unit just add to the homey feel. I like hotels but for me, there's nothing like feeling at home without being at home. Give me a jacuzzi tub, big balcony, full kitchen (I might even be tempted to make a meal ;)) and that king-size bed with room for me and my family to spread out and I'd be one happy camper!

YAY!!!! This is my 200th POST!!!! Anyway, I love the Beach Club because it feels so *magical* Stormalong Bay pool is absolutely amazing (and fun) and the whole feel of the place is so friendly! Art the Greeter is so friendly and the lobby is so cute and pretty. Cape May Cafe has an amazing buffet and Beaches & Cream is such a nice spot to go to for ice cream late at night. In addition, the whole turquoise and pink theme of the rooms is nice and I love its proximity to Epcot. Plus, the Boardwalk is right next door! I just love the theme and have always felt fondly of it since I first went there. It's always hard to not stay there when we visit Walt Disney World... ;) I can't wait to be there again....!

BCV!!! Love, love, love the BCV!!! Had a 1 bdr and I would live there if I could. Love the jacuzzi tub, love Stormalong Bay, love the walks to EPCOT and MGM. I could go on and on. It is a truly magical place for us!!!!!!!!
