We did a lot of activities this last trip that weren't included in the price of the park ticket. Our favorite, by far, was the Illuminations Cruise. What's your favorite?

Sleeping to rejuvinate for the next day in the park!:D

Another vote for Illumination cruise. A very cool experience!

DTD would top my list too. I can sit there and people watch and take in the sights and sounds for hours.

Any of the tours; we have done several and have loved all of them. :bounce:

Far and away..........Eating.................

I love people watching (whether at resort, or DTD) - I've been known to take a book to read, sit down some where shady, have a drink nearby (water or Diet Coke), and then not read a sentence! People are amazing to watch!

Eating would probably be the next fav thing to do!

Having a nice dinner at one of the seven seas lagoon resorts, than watching the electric parade from the beach. Eating at California Grill and watching from the observation deck or your own table (if you are lucky). Strolling around the boardwalk. Sitting in the lobbies of the resorts at Christmas and absorbing the holiday atmosphere.

:D

Hanging out at DTD and PI are a lot of fun for me when I'm not at the parks. Also, haging out at the resort is cool, too. I had a lot of fun in 2002 when I stayed at the CSR. There was plenty to do.

We always have to take a morning to go to Winter/Summerland and play each side of the course. From our last trip, we have some very funny video of our 8yo ds dancing to the Beach Boys while we were putting :jester: !

For a visit near the holiday, I think making a point of visiting the resorts to look at the decorations was a wonderful "free" activity!

One of my personal favorites was going to get my Christmas Pin List completed! The list had been released on Thursday. On Saturday we went to DD and "discovered" that this was going on. After shopping, I left dh and ds's at the AKL pool, hopped the first bus that arrived, and proceeded to hit all of the spots to get the stamps needed to get our Free pins! I loved, loved, loved this! I went at my pace, took almost every mode of transportation Disney offers (bus, monorail, boat), went to every park in one day, (you wouldn't HAVE to actually enter a park if you didn't have an AP- there are gift shops that are all outside of the entrance, as well as gift shops inside the actual parks), met the neatest CM's and the best guests! Of course, I ended up buying the specific limited pins offered at each station, so "free" ended up costing us a little! :earboy2: I want to make sure to allow a day for this in December! The boys were happy to swim and eat from Mara, and I was in Disney heaven!

We love the Hoop Dee Doo and checking out the animals at Fort Wilderness!!!

I'd have to say DTD and people watching and eating and also just relaxing by the hotel pool with the kids.
