I have never done the dining plan. I usually just grab stuff here and there and enjoy a few character meals. I am going to do the dining plan this time around and I am trying to put some thought into where I should eat. So what are your favorite places to eat?

QS- Probably Cosmic Ray's in the MK
TS- hard to choose, would say either Tony's (atmosphere) or Liberty Tree

QS - Wolfgang Puck in Downtown Disney. So yummy and such a great alternative to the normal, theme park counter service. Every time we went last trip, I ordered this phenomenal pasta dish - I couldn't believe it was in the same category as the cheeseburgers and chicken fingers you get in the parks!

TS - Either Cinderella's Royal Table or Crystal Palace breakfast. Not for the food, but for the early entrance. It's so amazing to stand beneath the castle with no one else around you! By far one of the most magical parts of any Disney trip!

I might have to do the CRC. That does sound fun!!

Liberty Tree Tavern
Boma's any meal
Tusker House any meal
Cape May any meal
Hollywood & Vine any meal

QS-Pecos Bills, WGPE, EOS, SS

TS-Ohana, Calif Grill

We are trying several new places this yr..Cape May, Capt Grill, La Hacienda, Brown Derby for Dining with Imagineer.

We try a couple new places every year.

We always pay OOP for Trex when we arrive in DTD the day before checking into WDW and we always grab EOS with whatever credits we have left for the drive back to SC..

My DW insists on at least one visit to Cosmic Rays per visit, I think she has "a thing" for Sonny Eclipse.

We have one breakfast at Kona Cafe and one at Grand Floridian Cafe.

Other than that we like to try new places.

I completely agree about Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD. On the DDP, you can get the best meal for 1CS credit. Off the plan, it is less of a deal, as the cash prices are higher for the (better) food there than at other CS places, but I felt like I was stealing from them when I ate there on the DDP. I don't feel that about most Disney-property restaurants :lmao:

For TS, we always do Tusker House in the AK. And the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot, but that's mostly for the Princesses/TS credit ratio being much higher than anywhere else on property.

CS- Earl of Sandwich in DTD- We end up eating here at least twice every trip. The sandwiches are so delicious!

TS- Jiko at AKL. Love the flatbreads and desserts.

Faves:

Teppan Edo (A MUST DO for every trip from now on. Best steaks, waaay better than le cellier!)
Tusker House breakfast
Ohana
Sci Fi
Crystal Palace

Gross or disapointing:
Chef Mickeys breakfast
Le Cellier
Dinner at 1900 (LOVED the characters and atmosphere thou!)

this one's a toughie....I can't possibly pick just one....it's hard enough narrowing it down to 2!
TS - Biergarten/Cap'N Jacks
CS - Tangierine Cafe

My favorite Quick Service/Counter Service locations is the following.

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary & Backlot Express.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ & Pizaafari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Grand Floridian: Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

Boardwalk Inn/Villas: Boardwalk Bakery.

Without a doubt Boma for the 3 of us, as well as Chef Mickeys. For myself, Biergarten, though the kids only weren't crazy about it.

QS:
-Sunshine Seasons (Epcot): many options, fresh ingredients, great food (favorite QS in the World)

TS:
- Boma
- California Grill
- Teppan Edo
- Ohana
- 1900 Park (Breakfast)

Not too picky about QS but it's not a trip to the world without a dinner at 'Ohana with Wishes and rum punch in giant pineapples. :)
