What is your favorite MK meal?

The Plaza... the food is above-average but the service is superior!! we love it there... it's a great escape from the hustle/bustle :)

We love CP for breakfast lunch and dinner. It's never let us down. For two adults with no kids, I'd get a later ADR after the dinner rush. It's nice right around the time Wishes starts. Many people go on the porch to view it, or if you get a nice window seat you can see it from there. Also, the restaurant is not as crowded or noise at that time.

We love Peco Bills for CS. I love the huge fixins bar. I had the chicken wrap which was HUGE, DH gets the burgers but was eyeing the taco salad :rotfl2: Everything looked good.

Haven't been to CHH. Cosmic Rays has good chicken and ribs at dinner time. My boys always love Casey's (althought to me hotdog is not a meal :rotfl:)

We had the worst meal in all our years of going to WDW this Nov at the Tommorow Noodle place. YUCK! Chicken bowl was tasteless and beef and broccoli came with one floret!

Boy I am really missing Disney, we haven't been back 2 weeks yet, but missing it a lot, especially the food!

Our favorites are CRT for breakfast (eat there every trip, never been disapointed, this time was as wonderful as always) love, love, love the potatoes and the french toast stuffed thingy... For us, it's Cosmic Ray's for CS (ate there twice, wanted more.) We love the ribs and chicken combo, wonderful potatoes and green beans!!! YUMMY!!! Also, love the topping bar for the burgers, but this time never got past the ribs and chicken!!!

I'm drooling... now off to eat a casserole...

We love LTT for lunch!!!

We get:

Fried cheese app (split if we are paying for it OOP or one each if on Deluxe Dining)

I get the pilgrim's feast for my entree. I got the sandwich heard round the world before but it's gone :(. DH got the pot roast last time and said it was excellent. He may have had it twice, actually. The first time he got the william penne pasta and said it was too heavy for lunch

Dessert: Ooey gooey toffee cake. LTT had my fave dessert which was the butter griddled pound cake, but it's gone :(. DH used to get the desserts with cherry chambord ice cream but that is gone too :(

For CS we love columbia harbour house! We get the fish & chicken combo! I've gotten the apple thing for dessert but it's not that great - very doughy.

It is our favorite because the food is consistently good, it's sit down so good for relaxing, and I love the themeing!

I am not a huge fan of MK restaurants but when we do eat there, we prefer Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace if we are going to sit. We have had AWESOME service at LTT. One day we were in and out in about 35 minutes. Crystal Palace has a lot of good options but it always seems to be really crowded - for good reason. For CS, we like Casey's because of the things they have that you can add to your hot dog. Only one bad experience to speak of at Casey's. I picked up some mayo packets for my fries and both packets were VERY VERY sour smelling, so I dared to taste and it was indeed no good. Other than that - no bad. We do prefer eating at Epcot (I love the Veggie cuban in that big place down by Soarin - never can remember the name), San Angel and Biergarten.

We love Crystal Palace-we try to eat there every trip. They have great character interaction and good food-kids love the ice cream bar. LTT is also good, but they are discontinuing the characters in January. For counter service, Pecos Bills is good or Casey's Corner. The last time we ate at Cosmic Ray's (a couple of weeks ago) I had a stomach ache for the rest of the day.

We love The Plaza (club sandwich) and for CS we enjoy Casey's(hot dogs), CHH (tuna sandwich) and Cosmic Ray's (rotisserie chicken).

I think CP is a glorified buffet.
We enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern, but
BEST decision is to hop on monorail over to Poly, and enjoy a really delicious meal at Kona Cafe. Great Steak, good pasta, lovely atmosphere and a chance to relax before doing more Park time.
Whatever you choose, have a great time and a YUMMY meal!

Happy Holidays to All!

My husband and I try to visit both Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's when we are looking for CS in the MK (we head to the MK at least two or three times per trip). We both like that we have variety when it comes to Comic Ray's. I usually order a veggie burger (I *love* the topping bar) and my husband will usually order a bacon double cheeseburger or a hot dog. But if we were in the mood for sandwiches or if he wants chicken or ribs, we're covered! As for Pecos Bill's, I like to order the salad without the chicken and my husband likes the bacon cheeseburger or the BBQ pork sandwich. I love the salad there - the jicama adds a nice crunch and the lime dressing is really tasty.

As far as TS goes.. The Liberty Tree Tavern is our favorite TS in the park. We've never had a bad meal there. The portions are always the right size (if not on the large size) for us and we really like the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's usually on our must-do list for trips.

Good luck deciding - I'm sure you'll find some tasty meals there.:)

Count me in as one of the fans of Columbia Harbor House. It was one of the coziest meals we had on our trip last year, and we'll be returning next May. Me and my boyfriend both had the vegetarian chilli and the Lighthouse sandwich. I loved eating upstairs, while looking out the window at all the people. It was just a really relaxing place.

The only TS meals I've had at MK are LTT and Tony's. The only reason we ate at Tony's last year was to get a picture of me and my boyfriend sharing a spaghetti noodle, ala Lady and the Tramp. We got the picture, and I'm really not in any hurry to return. We did the character dinner at LTT before MNSSHP, and I thought the character interaction was good. We're both vegetarian (with me being vegan), so we each had the vegetarian lunch item as our meal at the chracter dinner, rather than the standard meal. They've since changed menus and won't have characters after January, so I can't comment on what they serve now. But I did enjoy the restaurant's atmosphere and location.

We always feel lucky to get into the Plaza for lunch because we rarely make ADRs for anything but dinner.

Anytime we do we think it's our best meal at MK. We love it!

I would definitely choose the Crystal Palace as my favorite TS...they have a wide selection of foods and all of it is delicious! CS is hard to pick a favorite...i love both Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Ray's...either place you choose you'll get a great meal out of it! :woohoo: hope this helps! :goodvibes

So many great replies! Thanks everyone. Please keep them coming.

We love Cosmic Ray's -- good ribs/chicken, desserts and condiment bar. It can be noisy and crowded -- sometimes outside is nice. And ya gotta love that Sonny Eclipse!

of course! Sonny is the best! "Lunar Ticks!"...haha, gotta love it!:rotfl:

Kona Cafe', I find most of the food lacking at MK. When we are visiting MK we can make easy reservations at the Kona, plus the food is some of the best at WDW. We just jump on the monorail to the Polynesion. After dinner we usually jump back on the monorail and go back to MK.
