What is your Favorite Love Story movie?

Sliding Doors for me.

I'm not normally a chick flick kind of person - I prefer action and horror - but I really really like that one!

Does anyone else cry over "strange" films? I cry every time I watch Godzilla, towards the end when you think Godzilla's dead... There have been other examples but that's the one my DH found to be the most strange I think, he couldn't stop laughing at me... :confused3

Sleepless in Seattle
Bridges of Madison County
While you were sleeping
Pretty Woman
Ghost
Sliding Doors.....I had forgotten about that one...now I'll have to watch it again
Titanic

I really liked Sliding Doors as well. Very underrated film. I cried at the end of Dracula (the Coppola version) I loved the chemistry between Winona Rider and Gary Oldham.

Untamed Heart (Christian Slater)
While You Were Sleeping
Emma

Not really love stories, but they had some lovin' in 'em:
Chocolat
Big Fish
Little Women (Christian Bale gets me every time)

I have a ton I love, but thought I'd mention "Bed of Roses" with Christian Slater and Mary Stuart Masterson. Beautiful.

Lots of my favorites have been mentioned already - but one of my favorite movies is Gigi.

Louis Jourdan :lovestruc

Random Harvest (Ronald Colman and Greer Garson)

Gone with the Wind and Wuthering Heights

First and foremost....Gone with the Wind.
Followed by:
Moulin Rouge
Dirty Dancing
Roman Holiday
Titanic

I am sure there are many more, but I am too lazy to go look in the DVD cabinet.
I love old movies from the 30s-50s. The acting is so emotional, and  , you didn't have to see people have sex to realize they were in love! The writing is so dramatic and romantic!

Pretty much all of the ones already listed and also Pride and Prejudice (A&E)!

Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Moonstruck

I am not normally a romantic movie person, but the movie "The Whole Wide World" is beautiful.

It was a really small film (not a big wide-release), but it is one of the most heart-wrenching love stories I've ever seen. It is based on the true story of a teacher in a small town in Texas and her relationship with the writer Robert Howard (he created Conan the Barbarian, Kull the Conqueror, etc.) back in the 1930's. He was considered very strange and was a real outsider and she was this proper, small-town teacher who wanted to be a writer. They never could seem to be in love with each other at the same time.

This is one movie that made me bawl like a baby!

And it stars Vincent D'Onofrio... my love! :lovestruc

Somewhere In Time for me too....It is my all time favorite love story. I cry each and every time I see that movie. So sad!
