We like Mama's: it's off the beaten path, very relaxing, excellent service, very good (maybe not outstanding) food. Went there alone with DH (what a treat!) this December, and will take our 3 kids with us for a lunch when we return in June. We split the Caesar salad to start with, and were impressed by the crisp romaine, the fact that it was plenty for both of us, and that the waiter split it on two plates for us without us asking him to. Perhaps a little slow on drink refills, but everything else was great. I'm not a "gourmet," so perhaps I'm not the best judge, but we enjoyed the food a great deal.
