My favorite onsite hotel is the Contemporary having stayed there five times as a youth. It's too expensive for me now but I live here so it's cool. :thumbsup2

There is no least favorite. It all depends on budget, length of trip, traveling with kids or not, etc.

IMO all on-site properties have advantages. What are you looking for?

My family's least favorite hotel is Saratoga Springs Resort, and our FAVORITE resort hotel is Animal Kingdom lodge. We love the theming and restaurants. Not the most convenient hotel but still our favorite. I think the main reason we are not fond of SSR is because it is so big and spread out and we live in the real city of Saratoga Springs, NY. The resort does not do it justice. Don't get me wrong, it is still a beautiful resort but definitely last on our list of favorites.:)

My favorite is a hotel onsite at WDW! :lmao:
I have stayed at VWL, BWV and Pop and loved them all!

Our most favorite place to stay on grounds is the AKL. That is our home resort in the DVC. We have stayed at almost all of them including FW. I would recommend any of them. I agree with the other posts 1. stay on grounds and 2. it depends on your budget. It is worth it! The value hotels (All Stars and PC) are about the same price as outside. We stopped counting at 20 visits and have stayed on grounds except one and regretted it.

Best bang for our buck, price, location: Wilderness Lodge.

Least or last: All the values amd some of the moderates.

We've done 43 trips so far and really nailed down our place to hang our hat/
