What is your favorite dish at LeCellier? It is our one "grown up" meal of our trip!

Has anyone had the shrimp pasta dish? I think it would be a shame to not eat beef at this place... but was curious if the shrimp was good too?

thanks! jen

Appetizer...love the shrimp cocktail and its presentation
Entree I've had the mushroom filet and the surf and turf..both great
Sorry, never had enough room for dessert :thumbsup2

Is there good food for a non-meat eaters? Would like to let DH eat here but me and DD do not eat meat! They are happy with pasta or pizza so I guess I am really only worried about me! Has anyone had the Butternut Squash "Risotto" or the vegetable sampler?

Thanks!

Cheese soup for appetizer, though I might like to try the Shrimp.
Mushroom filet with risotto for an entree
Any dessert is fine, but I love the creme brulee(though it COULD be about 10 times larger) :rolleyes2

You can literally make a meal out of their delicious cheese soup and free breadsticks. Yummmmm.

We always have the Cheese Soup as an appe.

I love the Surf and Turf but plan to have something different this time.

The Cobbler was good but again plan to have something different.

Well, I think the highlight of the meal was the pretzel bread! YUM!!! They had some other breads too, but my fav was the pretzel.

I also had the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, which was yummy... oh and I had a taste of some of the canadian cheese sampler which my younger brother didn't care for (he's more of the plain hamburger & french fries type who doesn't try or like anything different). I then had the New York Strip, which was ok... not the best steak I've ever had. If I go again, I'll likely go for one of the filets or the prime rib.

Ok, for dessert, I had the sampler... which was okay, but more of a teaser! The sorbet was my least favorite, but I loved the creme brulee... oh and I did try some of the whiskey cake... yum! I should have gotten that. Again, someone else ordered the cheese sampler for dessert...

Anyway, there were 8 of us and all on the dining plan, so we each ordered different stuff and then sampled....

Appetizer: Cheese Soup
Main Course: BBQ Filet with Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes
Dessert: Maple Creme Brulee

On my visit (the only one so far), I had the cheese soup for an appetizer, which was very good, and the mushroom risotto steak dish which was AMAZING.

On desserts, my husband and I got the dessert sampler, so I got to try the Creme Brulee, the Club cake and the Raspberry Sorbet. I thought the Creme Brulee was too sweet, the Club cake was very good, but soooo rich, the Sorbet was actually the perfect dessert after my meal, but I really enjoyed alternating between the club cake and the sorbet - it cut down the rich on the cake and added a little zing.

I may try something different when we go again in October (assuming I secure an ADR in @ 3 weeks!)

I love, love, love the mushroom fillet at Le Cellier - it is one of my favorite meals in all of The World. The beef is good but the mushroom sauce is what makes it.....mmmmmm....my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Appetizer - Pretzel bread sticks, cheese platter
Entree - Mushroom filet with risotto
Dessert - Raspberry sorbet

drool..drool... :p

Cheese Soup and Breadsticks for an appetizer
Mushroom Filet for an entree
"Chocolate Moose" off the Kids Menu for dessert!

Enjoy! It is sooooooooooo good! Can't wait til June to have some!

Appetizer: Cheese soup with pretzel breadsticks
Main: Definitely prime rib - my DH had this while I had the filet, and his was much better
Dessert: Whiskey cake, though I barely had room for a forkful!

L-O-V-E LeCellier! Always have. Have been going for years - even before it was such an Epcot "hot spot!"

Cheese soup - to die for
Pretzel breadsticks - the yummiest bread I have ever eaten
Surf and turf special - not on the menu..but amazingly good
Dessert sampler - a little bit of everything to share with your sweetie

Loved the shrimp cocktail, it is awsome! I had the mussels over pasta for dinner and it was also really good! :thumbsup2

Love the cheddar cheese soup. I thought the butternut risotta was wonderful, the tastes blended together so well.

I almost never have room for dessert.

Well I would like to thank everyone here for helping me decide that I'll be getting cheddar cheese soup and the mushroom filet with risotto when I finally get to Le Cellier. I'll probably have to share desert though. I love the good questions people ask here...

For the life of me, I can't remember the appetizer that I had......for my entree I had the maple glazed salmon...it was WONDERFUL!!!!! In fact, I am craving it right now. for dessert, creme brulee that was also wonderful!

We are going for the first time in October...two questions...

1. Does the cheese soup have a beer taste to it? I *love potato and cheese soup...but I do not care for the taste of beer.

2. Has anyone asked to substitute the risotta on the mushroom filet for the cream cheese mashed potatoes? My dd would prefer those!

Thanks! :thanks:
