DH and I will be dining at CA Grill for our first time during our upcoming anniversary trip and I'm trying to get some ideas on what is best. Any recommendations?

The food has been so good at CA Grill again, we haven't had anything bad in a long time.

I just sent the new menu (from our dinner there on the 8/8). It is posted on allearsnet.com. Check it out. We were a party of six and tried quite a few things that night.

We always look for something new, something we haven't tried when we go to the nicer Disney restaurants.

Enjoy!

First Course - We always share a flatbread - I think the triple cheese one? It is wonderful.

Salad/Soup - We usually skip the salad/soup portion. Nothing jumps out at us on the menu. (We sound so unhealthy huh?)

Entrees - We order steaks. I had the pork tenderloin once and it was good, but the filet is YUMMY. I'm not a big steak eater here at home - normally would go for a chicken dish, but the filet is worth it there.

Dessert - A MUST do. We always get Valrhona Chocolate and Coffee (a chocolate lava cake). I never grow tired of this wonderfulness.

We always leave full and happy. :goodvibes Enjoy your meal!

All the sushi, Goat cheese ravioli app, halibut main course for me, tie between veal and pork for DH.

I like the flatbreads for an appetizer - they change frequently but I have never had a bad one.

I like the pork or filet for dinner.

Banana Butterscotch Buzz for dessert - yummy!

We went for the first time last October. Everything we has was excellent! I know their menu changes seasonally so these choices may not be available of course.

We started with Lobster Bisque with brandy whipped cream...and it was gooood! I'm a soup person and I could've have made a meal out of a big bowl of the soup and the crusty bread. Entrées - I had the Grilled Pork Tenderloin with creamy goat cheese polenta, zinfandel glaze, and sage. My boyfriend had the Oak-fired Filet of Beef with root vegetables and teriyaki barbeque sauce. Both were excellent! Dessert - he had The Year of a Million Dreams Honey Crunch Cake with Chantilly cream, oven-roasted golden pineapple and crunch candy crumble. I had the Green Apple Trio- apple jalousie tart with caramel foam, green apple shooter, and green apple meringue with apple sorbet. I could've licked the plate clean :goodvibes

The menu has been changed since July. We ate there on 7/26 and there were a few new items. There were 11 people in our table and we were able to order different appetizers, entrees and desserts.
Most of us ordered sushi and sashimi for appetizers, but we also had the Foie Gras (best appetizer of all, IMO) There's a lamb tenderloin dish for entree that is new but yet to be updated on the menu. Desserts changed quick a bit. The banana buzz thingy is still there. What's new? The Valrhona cake now comes with an apricot ice cream (you have no idea how much I miss the white coffee ice cream) Chocolate temptation: sugar free dessert that everyone have to try. It was so good yet guilt free.

I think it's the yellowfin 3 ways sushi - I always get that. I switch out the flatbreads but it's always that sushi.

AND THE CHEESE BOARD

That's all I get - sushi, flatbread and a cheese board

We always start with one of there fantastic flatbreads and then I order Pork tenderloin with creamy polenta.

the goat cheese ravioli is fabulous ... the sushi is great ... and I love the pork tenderloin with goat cheese polenta (sans mushrooms!).

Ugh, nope, it was right the other day, Deb emailed me and let me know it was up. That one is definately not what we had on 8/8. I emailed Deb and let her know it had been changed again.

Sorry.

Yum! Everything sounds so good. Thanks for all the recommendations. I can't wait to try it myself!
