What is your favorite dinner? What about your children's favorite meals?

I am trying to get out of a rut - I like to try at least one new recipe every few weeks and it's about that time to find something new - I'm going food shopping tonight so hit me up with any good recipes you have :)

I just got a new one from my friend that she got from weight watchers! It's fabulous!

You take four or five pork chops, season with lemon pepper to taste and cook them in a skillet on the stove. Once they're cooked, you remove them from the skillet and return the skillet to the heat. Add in 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup of low sugar orange marmalade and mix them together over the heat. Then, return the pork chops to the skillet and cook for one minute on each side. Serve the chops with the orange sauce poured over them.

It was soooo good! We had ours with green beans seasoned with a little salt and some lemon pepper and bread. She likes to eat hers with rice. Either way, it's fabulous!

This one is very easy and I think kids would like it to. Cheese stuffed manicotti
1 jar spagetti sauce( you can add ground beef if you want to or not)
manicotti shells
string cheese
mozarella cheese

cook the noodles. in a 9x12 pan spray with cooking spray. then pour a little sauce in the bottom. lay the cooked noodles add 1 1/2 of the string cheese to the shells. Pour the rest of the sauce on top. cover and bake at 350 for about 30-45 min. uncover and add mozarella cheese on top and put back in the oven for 10 minutes. Very good and easy to make.

chicken and rice with veggies

This can be made two ways with either the California blend veggies or frozen mixed veggies.

1 box uncle ben's wild rice with seasoning
1 1/2 c water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c cheese
one 16 oz bag of veggies
boneless chicken breast ( I cut into strips to make sure it cooked well)
mix the first 5 ingredients. pour in the bottom of 9x12 pan. place chicken on top and sprinkle with paprika. bake for about 50 minutes. take out and place more cheese on top of chicken and cook 10-15 minutes longer.

If you like these pm me and I can give you some more.

Here's what we're having for dinner tonight--

--1 turkey sausage, sliced into bite size pieces
--1/2 cup barbecue sauce
--1/2 cup apricot fruit spread (grape is also very good)

Put barbecue sauce and fruit spread into a medium sauce pan on medium high heat. Stir until fruit spread melts. Add chopped sausage pieces and reduce heat to medium. Cover the pan and cook 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is heated through.

Serve with a wheat roll, fruit, and steamed broccoli florets or snow peas for dipping into the extra sauce. Very yummy and very easy!!!
