What is your favorite backpack to use in the parks?

We got one a few years back as a promotion and it has held well. So well we just got a similar one a few weeks ago at the resort.

im still using my same North face book from our first trip ! very durable and has 2 holders for water bottler or canisters . I will be using it again this September !

If you will be carrying a lot or have any back issues at all, look into an Airbac backpack. They have great padded straps and an inflatable air pocket that keeps the weight off your spine. My DH carried ours all week at Disney with no complaints! They can be pricey, but I was patient and found one on Amazon for $40 last year.

a few other tidbits....I once had a bag where the zipper periodically opened by itself as we walked around. I nearly lost my stuff a few times, until I clipped it, then replaced it.

Over the course of many extended-family trips, we've also periodically had the misfortune of accidentally leaving our bag behind. It is easy to forget a bag when you are distracted. This is why cross body bags are helpful: they never come off in the parks. if you ever lose anything though, it is worth checking at the Lost and Found offices. There is one for each park (though eventually, I think staff said it all goes to the MK L and F), and there is one at each resort.

Until I read your post, I never thought about leaving my bag behind or losing it. I'm going to add a luggage tag to the handle or maybe in the inside with my cell phone number on it.

Thanks for getting me thinking!

For my longer visits I wanted some essentials with me to the parks. But carry as little as possible... So I made my (then) DH to wear an oversized fanny pack! *LOL* :rotfl::rotfl2:

Can't stop laughing at that.... Ha ha ha! :rotfl2:

:tinker:

Thank you for the advice everyone! I went with two bags! Both from Vera Bradley Disney Collection! I did the hipster bag and a backpack! :) We will be there for 11 days, so I can switch on and off :)

It looks like OP found the bag she wanted, but I wanted to add to the thread anyway. I love this backpack for the parks. Supper lightweight, plenty of room for everything we need for a family of 5 yet not too big, comfortable and easy to carry:

I also have an older version of this that I've tried, but I just didn't prefer the one strap feel all day but for those that would like a sling type bag, it is a good option as well:
