What is your favorite backpack or any type of bag to use while in the parks? I'm having trouble finding one I like that I feel will have plenty of room to carry things! Please post links or pictures you have any! :)

Sorry the picture isn't the best, my mother and I share the Disney Princess Tattoo Backpack from Loungefly. We've used it twice for Disneyland, and we'll also be using it during our WDW vacation. It's obviously not the nicest or biggest backpack, but it works well for us. I'm sure most other people use school type backpacks, but honestly, we're not the kind of people to carry around a bunch of items in a theme park. As long as there's room for water bottles, phones, chargers, and a camera, we're content with just about anything.

I use a Vera Bradley Just Right backpack in the parks and it's great. I have plenty of room for everything plus a few small purchases and it's waterproof.

We usually have my DS3 diaper bag which we use, but for my DS9, we always buy him the current Disney world back pack for the year so he can keep his autograph book and notebook and markers and stuff in there. They are small enough and light enough for him to carry but big enough to put all his stuff in. Although I wasn't happy with the 2015 version Bc the 1 shoulder strap broke in the middle of our trip. The 2014 one was solid though

camel back. Allows me to fill up the bladder the night before with water and put it in the fridge over night and still allows room for phones, glasses and camera.

I have an Eddie Bauer sling pack that I wouldn't trade for anything! They don't make the one that I have anymore, but their "Stowaway Packable Sling Bag" is I believe the newer version and probably just as good. It's smaller, but I find it holds more that it seems.

My favorite pack for the park and for all around use is a USMC surplus assault pack. It has an interior elastic pocket for my camelback, two zippered compartments (makes going through security easier) and padded shoulder straps. Its the best, and also most durable, pack i've ever owned. And it was cheap! :teeth:

I like this one. The laptop sleeve (back pocket) is padded a bit to give it stability on your back. The other zipper openings are plenty big enough to slide everything in and keep organized for a family of 4. (Jackets / water bottles / cameras)

We also are going to attempt to use this one this year.

It won't fit as much, but for nice days, should be enough space to hold the camera, phones, protein bars, and enough water to get through the day.

we take 2 of these.

They have 2 water pockets each (4 of us in our family) and each one can hold a camelback water bladder if we want (though we don't usually do that)

very light, large comfortable straps and "cool" enough that my 12 year old will willingly carry one (it's what he takes on his Boy Scout Campouts as well)

My trusty mini backpack! Taken it on 5 trips, and it's still in great condition. Holds all my park essentials and fits on all the rides. Very comfortable!

My husband usually carries a backpack and I carry this for all of the essentials (sunscreen, snacks, little stuff for the kids while we wait in line, bottle of water, etc.) It's a cross body bag and is the perfect size for rides and isn't big enough where it gets too heavy.

For the past 6 trips I've used the best bag ever and they stopped making it and I need a new one and I'm soooooooooo bummed! It's a Totes brand triangle backpack. I'm a teacher so we always have to go in the summer and it's super lightweight, has tons of pockets, and very thin, nylon straps so it's great in the heat! It's also made of nylon on the outside which is great for all the summer rain! It's also only 11" tall, which is key for me. I have a very arched back, so if a backpack is too long it bounces off my booty when I walk and it's so annoying! The best part......I got it at our former Totes outlet for $10!!! I thought I'd try to get one more year out of mine before getting a new one and then they closed all the Totes outlets!

Waterproof!? Yay! I need to go look at the size!

What brand/style is this? Thanks!

Op it REALLY depends what you mean by, "plenty of room to carry everything." Myself and many others, enjoy going bag free best of all. And I say this as someone who -over the years- tried a great many bags.

For us, if we have to carry a bag, I try very hard to go as compact as possible. Like, instead of carrying a full bottle of sunscreen- we apply before we leave- then I carry a small chapstick style stick of sunscreen. If I have any bag, I prefer a SMALL crossbody bag with ONE compartment.

Mostly we eliminate anything bulky, and don't miss it. The big exception is a bottle of water, so DH wears cargo shorts. We also request lots of water with each meal.

The other bulky item we sometimes can't eliminate is jackets. We either go with cheap plastic ponchos that fold up in a packet. We also own rain jackets that fold up into their own pocket. Technically the ones we have are windbreakers, not rain wear, but they work. Ours came from LL Bean, but other places carry similar ones.

Last, we no longer carry everything with us all the time. We take a second before we leave the room to eliminate what we don't need, and adopting that policy has been great.

Other than cash and emergency meds, in a pinch, we can get much of what we might need in the parks. If we ever carry food, we consume it within about half an hour.

My last tip - try it out in advance! Whichever bag you choose, make sure it is comfortable on YOU, with the items you plan to carry. Bags with straps that dig into your shoulders, or make your back wet with sweat are no fun.
