I had the short ribs and thought they were delicious! My friend Di (lady danger) had the filet. It was our first time to Jiko so we were not aware the the portions for the filet had gotten smaller, but she enjoyed them nonetheless. We had appetizers, entrees, dessert and wine and were completely stuffed by the end of our meal.
The duck confit and fig salad can be a mini-meal in itself. I liked it but thought it was a little bit salty.
The lighting in Jiko was dim so it was hard to take food pics. I usually use macro, no flash, but I was pleased that the photos for the ribs turned out well. Also a plus was I hardly needed my knife. I went to cut a piece off and all the meat separated from the bone! Now that's some good ribs. Mmm...
