Our family has to say the Strawberry Shortcake dessert at Hoop-Dee-Doo-Review. Now mind you, we ate at "nice" restaurants for our dinners but we still say the HDD Strawberry Shortcake was the BEST. The kids sitll talk about it!! :Pinkbounc

What are your favorites?

Hello,

This is a tough one. One of my favorites is a very simple one, the fresh pineapple with caramel dipping sauce, served after the meal at 'Ohana, in the Polynesian Resort. Another favorite, although it's not a single item, is the dessert bar at Boma, and in particular, the mini pineapple cheesecakes. I can think of a dozen or so other ones, but those come to mind right away.

Take care,

Bill

I love the Strawberry Shortcake also. But there are so many great WDW desserts I can't name them all. Most of the World Showcase restaurants have great desserts from their respective countries.

Definitely the Banana Split at Narcoossee's!!! I get weekly cravings for me.............unfortunately I live 2 &1/2 hours away:( !!

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the zebra domes at Boma. They are fabulous!!!

Granted, the shortcake at Hoop De Doo is fabulous...extra points for presentation...but my all-time favorite is the Banana Napoleon at the Flying Fish...unbelievable. My husband opted out of dessert and was shocked that I wouldn't relinquish a single bite. Layers of fillo dough, creme brulee, homeade carmel sauce, fresh bananas and whip cream...it's the tops (its the Tower of Pisa).

The chocolate souffle at Shula's......it's what my dreams are made of........

Even though we have many favorites, Tha Magic Kingdom Bars they sell at the Roaring Fork Cafe at the Wildernesss lodge are a not to miss experience. Yum Yum! We have not been able to find them anywhere else at DW - has anyone seen them somewhere else?:D

I have to say, I always order the Chocolate layer cake if I see it on the menu. It's the best

That's a tough one...I've had so many wonderful desserts at WDW. Some of my favorites are

Bread Pudding with chocolate pieces from Liberty Tree Tavern

raspberry/chocolate/white chocolate cookies from Gourmet Pantry

KoKo Puffs at Kona Cafe

pineapple with caramel dipping sauce from 'Ohana

zebra domes from Boma

My DH's favorite is the chocolate banana bread pudding w/ banana ice cream at Jiko in AKL.

I love the cheesecake brownie from the boardwalk bakery. Yum!

Boy, they must have changed the Strawberry Shortcake when I went to HDD, because I thought it was the foulest thing I had evern eaten. It must have been different.

I do like the brownie sundae and Plaza Special Dessert at the Plaza restaurant. The bread pudding with Vanilla Sauce at 1900 Park Faire is really good, too.

dirt and worms dessert at Garden Grill. It is a kids dessert but it was so yummy that I ordered it too.;) ;)

Also,

Carrot Cake at Boardwalk bakery and german cholocate brownie pieces to.:bounce: :bounce:

I love the lemon meringue pie at Spoodles. (They have it in a couple of other places, too)

Also, the banana napoleon at Flying Fish is lethally addictive -- bananas, caramel, puff pastry and creme brulee? with whipped cream? Best. Dessert. Ever.

Everyone has certainly already mentioned some of my favorites but the one that I cannot visit WDW without having at least once is the cheesecake at the Main Street Bakery and the Napoleon at France ( did I say one?).:)

it's gotta be the chocolate lava soufle at flying fish. I think they have that same thing at palo's. but it was so good. I practically flew out of my seat when they opened it up and put the chocolate sauce in.
