What is your fav eats at AK?

Is the only sit down restaurant Rainforest Cafe? Can you make ADR there? I just remember a lot of counter service when we were there last.

I like Tusker House for breakfast and Flame Tree for lunch.

Donald's Breakfastosaurus is a buffet breakfast where you can sit down and characters come by to say "howdy."

There really isn't much TS in Animal Kingdom. Rainforest Cafe is there, but you have to exit the park to the side to get to it. I'm pretty sure you can get an ADR there, but whenever we've gone, the place has been pretty much dead, and we weren't overly impressed with the food. The only other TS option is for breakfast- Donald's Breakfastosaurus. It's a character breakfast buffet. Other than that, there is no AK TS. I think this is really lacking, and needs to be improved upon. The CS, however, is really good at AK. I love Flame Tree BBQ, and Pizzafari if that's what I'm in the mood for. I can't wait to try Tusker House on our next trip. If you're looking for TS, you always also take a quick bus ride over to AKL for the Boma buffet, which gets really good reviews, and unfortunately couldn't be fit in on our next trip. .

if it's not summertime, Flame Tree. if it is summertime, we get Flame Tree and take it to Pizzafari and eat it in the A/C.

We really enjoy Flametree when we go to AK. But if the sweetpea had her choice, it would just be Mickey bars all day.

last trip we had Flame Tree for lunch & it was to die for- we had the ribs and subbed slaw for the beans. Yum, yum, yum! I also have enjoyed the chicken, salmon and chicken sandwich from Tusker! Tusker doesn't disappoint, and I was hesitant to try Flame Tree, because I love Tusker so much, but Flame Tree was just as good! I will have to go to AK twice next trip so I can eat at both!

I've eaten at all 3 main counter serve places in AK-Tusker House, Flame Tree BBQ, and Pizzafari. I keep going back to Pizzafari for their hot deli sandwich. It's so good! And on a hot day, Pizzafari is a great place to go for a frozen lemonade.
