What is your fav band/music?

I love all types of music except rap. Not a big classical person either. My favs include Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, Shania Twain, Lonestar, Brooks and Dunn, Lifehouse, Creed, ....................

Now if you said favorite Disney band, that of course would be Off Kilter! If you know me at all or ever read my tags, that's obvious. I love them. They are one of the only bands that cheers me up and also calms me, down depending on my mood.

...but, I'd have to say my overall fav band is Queen - I'll always have a soft spot for the greatest voice/performer, Freddie Mercury.

I love pretty much all music except for rap...and I have kind of eclectic tastes, lol.

My favorite band is Relient K, but right now I also love the All-American Rejects, New Found Glory, Five Iron Frenzy, Earth, Wind and Fire, Clay Aiken, Matchbox 20 and the music from Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. The LotR soundtracks have the most incredible music!

I listen to all types of music...but I'm very conscious of the content now that my children are listening with me and we usually play our own custom made CDs.

My favorite band of all time has to be Depeche Mode. They've never done anything I haven't liked. I would be happy to have all of their CDs playing over and over all day long!!

I like and listen to a wide variety of stuff, but #1 for me are The Beatles. I also think Yes is a GREAT group, and have seen them several times. I'm looking forward to hearing more of their material in surround sound (Fragile on DVD-A is very cool).

My favorite of all time would have to be: KISS with Metallica a very close second.
My moms (55) is Metallica and then AC/DC
My sons (12) is KISS
My daughters (14) anything RAP. How very very different we are!!

I listen to all kinds of stuff: punk rock (Hot Water Music, Bad Religion, NOFX), hip hop (Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Jurassic 5), pop rock (Less Than Jake, Midtown, Riddlin' Kids), and lots of other stuff too.


I love that so many of you like the All-American Rejects! Before they were the All-American Rejects, a couple of them were in an OKC band called Mr. Crispy. They played shows with my friends bands (Rudy Ray and the O'Matics, the Sociables) pretty often...I'll have to dig up some of the tapes, they're hilarious!

The Dave Matthews Band are my favorite band but I also love a lot more bands/singers like: Third Eye Blind, Oasis, Aerosmith, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Train, Van Halen (with David Lee Roth), Silverchair, Michael Jackson, U2, Foo Fighters, Butch Walker/Marvelous3, Stroke 9, and Matchbox Twenty. There are many others, but it would be too much to list here.
