Hi!! :wave2: I am an official Disney nerd and I collect snowglobes!
Was wondering if there were more people out there that have Disney collections, and what it is that you have.(other than pin trading)
I have just started my collection and I have 4 snowglobes:
Cinderella Castle
Sorcerror Mickey
Pooh and Friends
Tinkerbell

I currently have my eye on a Mary Poppins snowglobe since that is my favorite movie.

Disney license plates! I've got a wall collection of about 10 right now, I hope to expand it this year! :goodvibes
My favorite one I have is the Doom Buggy one, got that outside of Haunted Mansion last year.

My DD has a rather large collection of WDW princess dresses:
She currently has:
Jasmine
Sleeping Beauty
Ariel (wedding)
Cinderella
Cinderella (cinderellabration)
Minnie
Tinkerbell
Snow White
she needs a new Belle though, she grew out of her old one

My DS has a collection of the small cars (both vehicles from around WDW busses, etc. and ride vehicles and character based)

I have a collection of picture frames and Christmas tree ornaments...

Wow; now I understand why we're so broke when we come home..:rotfl2:

I have several different Disney collections. My biggest, by far, is my ornament collection. This past Christmas, we had to go out and buy a bigger tree because of all the ornaments we have. We put all the Disney ornaments up and the old, sentimental ones made by the kids in school. We used no other ornaments. I pointed out to my husband now that we had a bigger tree and I have made it an almost "exclusive" Disney tree, I could buy more ornaments on our trip in September. :lmao: :lmao:

I also collect Precious Moments (I have over 250 of them) and have added many of the Disney ones the last couple of years.

Katmark-
You could do what we do- just add another tree!
We now have 6 scattered around the house- including one "Mouseketree!"
Happy Holidays:thumbsup2

I kinda have a variety of stuff. I also have snow globes. I have Cinderellas Castle, and Mickey in black and White at the steam boat wheel. Im trying to think of the other ones I have and I can't think of it right now. I'll have to go pull it out of the box to look at them (I just moved).

I also have something of almost all the main characters from beauty and the beast. I have one of the limited edition Belle porcelain dolls and porcelain figurines of Mr. Clocksworth, Ms. Potts and Chip. The only two I dont really have anything of is The beast (I have a kids toy figurine of him) and nothing of Lumiere. I searched for MONTHS for a porcelain figurine of Lumiere when I got the others to find out (in the mid 90s at least) that they didn't make figurines of him. :( Talk about being bummed out.

When I was in HS (we lived in CA) my dad would travel to Orlando on business quite a bit, and he started collecting figurines for me. I have a TON of them!! He would always bring some back for me, and I then started getting them as gifts from other people too. I think I had every one they made, and then they stopped making them. They were displayed in a curio in my house for about 5 years before I had kids, and about 2 years afterward. After the second one bit the dust due to 2 pawing young boys, they were packed away. :sad1: In our small flat here in San Francisco, there's just no other room in the house for them to go.

I also started snow globes when we lived in Orlando... I think I have 5 or 6. Again, nowhere to display those either!

Our collection is the lithograms they offer when a new movie is being released. We decorate DD3's bathroom with the lithograph(s) that correlates to the shower curtain and bathroom theme my DW has chosen for any particular day/month/year.

Pins (not just for trading, our favorites are on a board in our Disney room)
Snowglobes
Christmas ornaments (we have a small disney tree, and many on one of our big trees)

My biggest would have to be my Christmas ornaments, we have SOOO many and i buy at least 1-2 evert trip!..our tree is all Disney and the cute ornamens my DD's make in school.
I also collect snowglobes, right now i have about 17 ..2 broke when i moved, and was so upset (the Original Lion King and The villains where it made a tornado) because my Grandfather bought me those.
I also like Disney salt and pepper shakers...

Dh and I seem to collect everything Disney. Over the past 12 years we have collected ornaments. Our collection of snowglobes has grown to 18. Prints that we have had framed. And various statues, stuffed animals and yard sale finds. :confused3

It became an addiction very quickly. My goal was to have one snowglobe to represent every Disney animated movie. I'm now up to 57 snowglobes, but a few of them are "extras". I have a Mickey and Minnie wedding snowglobe my dh got me when he proposed..and then 2 more wedding globes for our 1st and 5th anniversary. Everything else represents a movie. I have a whole wall dedicated to them. They take up 3 bookcases that line an entire wall.
I have about 4 more that I can't take out of the boxes yet, because we are in the middle of remodeling. I have a pic of the wall, but I don't know how to post it here....
If someone could help me...i would be glad to show off...lol

I have the entire "Mickey Home Collection" that was available from DisneyShopping.com. I have a Mickey kitchen now & love:love: it. I even have some pieces that were not available on-line, yet I found them at the Disneystore.

I collect anything Tiinkerbell, ornaments (usually Tinkerbell) and money toward our next trip to Disney:)

My DS4 started collecting snow globes when we took her to WDW last November. She fell in love with a Figment snowglobe on our second day there and then everyday after that she got a new snowglobe.

I collect comic book versions of Disney movies. Animated and real life. Some of the best are Snow White, Cinderella, Dumbo, Mary Poppins, and on and on. The bad part is that most of them I've never read.

I have a Disney Christmas Tree. All of the ornaments are Disney!

I also bought a Golden Striped Monorail to go around it and I have a decent amount of the playsets: Contemporary, Poly, GF, Cindy's Castle, Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life, MGM Hat, Dumbo, Astro Orbiter, Cool Signs. Those darn teacups have eluded me.

It takes me about 1/2 day to set up the whole room!
