Was working as a bookkeeper and got laid off, was planning on studying for the CPA exam, but not sure now.

Just started with the state department with DHS, if I end of liking it i will just stay put. Getting to old to keep changing jobs.

Similar. I have a BA in Communications (Journalism/PR emphasis)and now I do IT support.

However, I did have minors in Computer Science and English, so it is closer.

debster, dh also is in IT with a wierd undergrad degree. he got a BA in Political Communications (i.e. manipulation and bs, LOL) and now is a project manager in IT and will graduate with his MBA in May.
