Just thought I would ask what everyones best or favorite Disney magic moment was. I would imagine that it would vary quite a bit from one person to the other and was just wondering what everyone thought on this. I know my most magical moment didn't even happen on Disney property but happened on the way to Disneyland on a shuttle bus. Some of you may have read about it on another thread where I put it down, but I'll put it down here to start this off.
This actually happened on my wifes first visit ever to Disneyland and she didn't realize it until after she had been and she caught the Disney fever just how special this was.
We were riding on the shuttle that runs from the off site hotels to Disneyland. The driver stops at this one stop and we noticed this very old man (had to be at least 80) that needed a cane to get around and could barely even walk very slowly stepping onto the bus. The bus driver looked over in amazement at him and his just as old wife and said "You do know this bus is going to Disneyland, right"? The old man who was slowly climbing the two stairs onto the bus looked up at him and with a grin from ear to ear and said "Your damn right I do, and were getting on it and going to Disneyland." The whole bus sat silent for a second in amazement thinking "wow" then a huge cheer broke out.
My wife even says that the guy was blind, I don't remember that, but she swears he was. It was just so great, here was this old man, barely able to even move around and in his 80's and he was going to the Happiest Place On Earth and he was loving every second of it, despite his health conditions. He still had the fever! I would imagine that his day only got better and better and his smile only got bigger and bigger. I can only hope that I will still be able to enjoy Disney when I'm in my 80's.
It was and still is the greatest magic of Disney moments I have seen in my life. My wife and I still talk about that old man to this day and that was 31 years ago.
So lets hear your best magic moment is!!!!!
