What is your all time favorite movie?

Or what movie have you viewed the most.

For me it could be Casablanca. Platoon, Apocalypse Now, The Cowboys, Rocky,The Godfather, The Deer Hunter, Goodfellas, Ben Hur, African Queen, Space Odyssey, River Kwai, The Rear Window and Wizard of Oz would be in the mix.

A long list I know for a favorite but it's hard to choose just one. If I had to it will probably be Casablanca.

I don't know if I have a favorite, but the first that comes to mind is Cinema Paradiso. There are a bunch, though, that I'll absolutely have to stop and watch if I'm flipping through channels!

That is DH's favorite movie. I've only seen him cry twice. Once was at the ending of that movie the first time he saw it. He pulls for Notre Dame just because of that movie. It really is a great one.


Mine is Back To The Future! I believe I have said it on here before that I am a total film snob, but BTTF will always be my favorite. But other in my top 10 would be Glengarry Glen Ross, LA Confidential, Some Like it Hot, Abres Los Ojos, Platoon (EXCELLENT), Ghandi and those are the ones that come to mind. But I will always love Marty McFly and BTTF! It's also the movie I have seen the most. I stopped counting at 23 and that was at least 5 years ago.

DARN IT. I left Shawshank off my list. I adore that movie and I'm still mad to this day that Forest Gump won Best Pic over The Shawshank Redemption. "Either get busy livin, or get busy dying"

And The Breakfast Club is NOT silly. I cannot tell you what it meant to me as a mom to sit and watch this with my DD last summer, to get to introduce to her, without a doubt, the best teen movie ever made. It has already stood the test of time. It's John Hughes' best work. I love that movie and everything about it. I've heard rumors of a remake for years and I pray that it will never happen. You cannot remake a movie that is already great. I'm not being sarcastic.

I'm a Christmas movie freak. My DS12 and I like to watch them all year round just to be rebellious! Our much-viewed collection includes: Elf (our top pick), National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, The Santa Clause (all three but epecially the first one) and Christmas with the Kranks. I also love The Family Stone. It was just on a cable channel last week and, of course, I had to watch it!
