What is your ADR process?

Do you do it by yourself or recruit people to help? Computer or mobile or tablet or call in? ASAP or wait until plans firm up (or wing it when you get there)?

If you do it on computer/laptop:
Do you have multiple tabs or windows open at the same time?
Do you search by park & time availability or by specific restaurant first?

I'd love to hear everyone's process! And any thoughts you have about it (why this method, how successful, etc)...

100% by myself. WAY too confusing to involve other people in it - plus that would mean giving them your MDE log-in info, and frankly I don't trust anyone that much.

I do one tab - using an incognito window. I've had too many times where the app acts like it's going to let you make the reservation then "There was a problem at this time", so for 6am I am computer only. I tried having more than one browser/tab but then I got confused as to what was what and spent more time marking what I got. ALSO there are some things like CRT (and evening show dining packages/dessert parties when/if they come back) that only show up on the computer.

For the initial booking, I search by date and time with my party size (I always say 2 even though I'm solo as the system doesn't always like single parties). Too much time lost going into individual restaurants or parks. I try to set my most desired things as far out as possible and go for those dates first. The one exception is if there is something important on an earlier day - example, for my birthday, I wanted Tiffins for dinner and that was MOST important, so that is what I searched for first.

Pretty much by myself with help from various online sites such as mouseears.net, opentable.com and another one I can’t think of for the minute. Not sure if they are running at this time.
