What is your 2nd favorite vacation spot?

Well as you can see I am 18 days away from my first trip to Hawaii so I am sure that will be my choice but as of now the Monterey california area. I just think it is so peaceful and beautiful there.

A bit of Disney - l love crusing on Disney Cruise line. You get to go to some wonderful ports, spend days at sea being pampered and end the week with a visit to paradise - aka Castaway Cay.

As you can see from my countdowns below we are lucky enough to be doing WDW and a cruise this year!

As much as I would like to say Hawaii. DH & I have never been there together. I went in my early 20's. I would also like to say a cruise but have never been on one with DD.

WE try our first family cruise next year on the Magic!

So I guess our favorite family destinations would be Virginia Beach & Saco Maine(camping).

We have the most fun on those trips besides our WDW trip.

Hilton Head Island
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
and I loved living in the Los Angeles area...

I would love to go to Paris again. The Eifelle Tower, the Louvre, the cafes, the Champs Elysee, the parks... so wonderful. Maybe if I ever go again, I could make it over to Disneyland Paris as well.

Ocean City, New Jersey. I've been going there every summer since I was two and I love it

I have 2 Bora Bora and Venice Italy. I absolutely loved them both, found them to be beautiful and romantic.

I have been to so many places but some of my favs would be , Italy, Switzerland, San fransico, San Diego, Grand Canyon, Gatlinburg, St. Augustine, Amelia Island and Jamaica

So many wonderful places.

For close by trips, I love going to San Antonio or Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

For further out places, I really enjoyed San Diego and Washington DC. I also love Amsterdam, Holland since I have family there and had a truly wonderful time seeing this beautiful city.

But my favorite vacation "spot" would be somewhere new. I love exploring new places more than anything!

Dallas Fort Worth. We used to live there so we go every year. We see our old friends and stock up on our fill of tex-mex, barbeque and good beef. We enjoy the friendly people and love to watch the yankees play the rangers. My kids still talk about hanging out at the pool with derek jeter. Awesome. Cant do that here.

The Bahamas, Madeira Beach FL, and St. Louis all tie for a distant second behind WDW.

I haven't been too many places, but I really love Yellowstone.

My favorite all time is my honeymoon at Pompano Beach(&WDW) back in July 1996. My favorite trip with my parents was a surprise trip to Niagra Falls in 1991---they only said we were going to visit my (maternal) grandmother. The week before we went to Talladega/Mobile, AL to visit my other grandmother for her birthday. Mobile was also a surprise as well as going through FL for the first time. My third runner up favorite vacation was Ireland and Belgium. My in-laws sprung for most of the trip since they had extra air miles and they were renting a beautiful small house outside of Galway. This year we are going to Boston to celebrate my sister's wedding. I could not convince them to do a disney wedding.;) Oh well, maybe next year it will be Disney or Ireland.

NC Belle:sunny:

I love Spain and the Canary Islands, especially Tenerife and Gran Canaria. :sunny:

We live in San Diego County, so we have nice weather most of the time. Just got back from Vegas 2 hours ago (we drive there once a month). I would have to say favorite city vacation is New Orleans, which we try to visit at least once a year. Our favorite relaxing vacation (meaning my husband can't use his wireless card or Treo to check email) would be Yellowstone and the Tetons. The Great Smoky Mountains are great, but too easy to get email.

Great thread. Thanks for posting it.

This world is full of wonderful places.
We like Hilton Head.
Would love to get back to N. California & the Oregon Coast.
Want to get our boys to Yellowstone (maybe this August)
Hawaii (the Big Island or Maui)
Want to redo our New Zealand trip with our boys (went before they arrived)
Australia is high on our list (does it count if we haven't gotten there yet?)
I could go on & on
