What is wrong with some ppl??

DS called me before...he is on his way from CA - OH. He is in the AF and he is being transferred ( I am sure there is a military term for it). So he called me to vent about his former housemates.

OMG.. Ok...DS bought a house with 2 other guys. 1 left the airforce..1 like DS is staying. Now..they of course bought their house 3 years ago when prices were high.. well now they are underwater. The one leaving the AF wanted to sell, DS and the other roomie, don't since they need excellent credit for their jobs. They are currently renting out the house and hoping that they will be able to sell at some point and at least break even.

Anyway DS was packing yesterday and today and loading a truck. DS ran out yesterday for a dinner break, asked roomies if they wanted to go, they both said no. Well the 1 roomie leaving the service has been out of the house for a bit. The other one is also out, they are still local. DS still had stuff around, his cell phone charger, some brand new laundry detergent and shampoo and soap and a few other things. He was still packing and loading the truck.

Well the 2 roomies have a final walkthrough without waiting for DS and they threw out his STUFF!! His cell phone charger, his shower stuff (he wanted to shower after finishing packing), and his laundry soap. DS was so annoyed when he got back to the house.

He plans on charging them for the items. THe cell phone charger cost him 25.00 to replace!! What is wrong with these 2?? DS said it was mainly the 1 that wantes to sell the house. The other one was apologetic and I guess didn't have the nads to tell the other guy no. I mean my DS truck was still in the driveway! He left to grab DINNER... The other roomie isn't even answering DS's calls, so I am pretty sure he did it on purpose! What a lowlife!

DS had some things go missing on him while living there, now he thinks it was probably this guy.

Well DS doesn't plan on roommates in OH!! LOL.... I am glad he called me to vent, I don't need him driving cross counrty annoyed!!

His truck was still in the driveway? Yeah - I'd be pretty ticked if I were him too!

That would tick me off as well. They all own the house, they were doing their own walk through before the renters come, correct? It's not the same as if a landlord is coming and even then just move the stuff to one of the cars.

I would never recommend buying a place though with friends. Solo or spouse only, never with friends. That's just trouble in the making.

I agree.. I know of at least two sets of people that did this and when things went sour - well - it wasn't pretty at all..

WOW, hope that he let's it roll of his shoulders and have a safe and protected journey to his new duty station.
