Hi WISH-ers,

So after reading so many accolades about the iFitness belt here and seeing thier "no riding up, no bouncing" slogan I was excited to see them in person at the Princess expo. I bought one after trying it on, but thankfully kept myself from wearing anything new for race day. So, I have since used it twice for short 4 mile runs and I hate how it rides up!!! Grrr!!! I've tried tighter, I've tried looser...no luck. The young woman at the expo showed me how low on the hips it should be worn and I thought that looked perfect. Why, oh why does it end up around my waist? Am I that much more curvy in the hips than everyone else who loves these things? I'm not a very big girl, but my hips are bigger than my waist...so quite honestly I don't know how it wouldn't ride up, but I really wanted to believe that it would stay down.

Any tips or trick on getting it to stay put? I'm just so frustrated because I want it to work so badly. I run during my lunch hour at work and have to take my ID badge with me, so I could use it daily and for races if I could get it to work properly.

My DS has no waist, no hips and when he wore the belt it took him a while to get it figured. He wore the belt at the tightest fitting and as I wear my waist pack, extremely low on the hips. I like to wear mine quite low to keep it off my tummy (reflux issues). I make sure it is at the bend of the legs and a very tight fit. Once in a while I have to pull up, not down. Not often. Again, mine is a waist pack though. But DS did get his to work eventually where it did not ride up or down. He really liked it for minimalist wear. He takes less than I take along the journey.

Hope you can get it figured to where you can wear yours.

I would email their Customer SErvice to get some tips. May be something weird like you are wearing it TOO tight which is counter intuitive, but the tightness you have it might make it ride on up there. Good luck.

I got a Spibelt at the expo and LOVE it - wore it on the race - though wishing it had a clip inside like the fuelbelt did so I wouldn't be worried about keys falling out when I unzipped. I am questioning whether I should have gotten the fuel belt but I liked the spi belt better.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! Maybe I'll experiment this weekend on the treadmill so I can just chuck it to the side if it makes me mad like it did today. I'll also e-mail their customer support and see what they suggest.

Kristin - I also have bigger hips and a smaller waist and I have never been able to get my iFitness belt to stay down on my hips. I gave up and started wearing it under my shirt, at my waist, with the pouch sitting in the small of my back. That way it doesn't bounce or shift, and I find it comfortable with the pouch at my back instead of in the front or side.

The only time I could keep it down on my hips was when I was really pregnant and my big belly kept it in place. :rotfl2:

Thanks Sarah Rose, I might have to try that and see how it feels. At least now I know I'm not the only one with this issue!

Mine does not ride up or move...but I like to wear mine REALLY low on the hips, almost around my upper butt. Maybe you do have it too tight?
