Long but good as well. It was DH's b-day so I had to make him his 'special dinner'. Which was really only lasagna, not my choice but OK.

Got bowling tonight, but I might not be going. I am picking up my new car tonight, and also the fact that I am still quite mad at my team mate so I am not going to rush out of the dealership. One of those if I make it then great if not then oh well.

Is this the same team mate who "blamed" the teams loss a couple of weeks ago on you? UGH! We have that one guy on our team who is a bit...rough...but looks like we're stuck with him until May.

I got a Lincoln Navigator. Its not brand new, used instead.

But yup, same person. What stinks is that he is my good friends son, and I don't want to cause a problem by saying something, so instead I come up with little one liners to shut his mouth.

Just looked at our current standings, and last weeks loss that was apparently 'my fault' well how can that be all mine, when I bowled 50 pins over average in series. First game was rough, couldn't find a decent line, but I don't care who you are, that can happen to anyone. The whole thing annoys me.

I used to bowl on a mixed league with my DH until he decided I wasn't competitive enough and stopped playing. It wasn't that I wasn't competitive enough - I am competitive and offensive - I just stink! I haven't bowled since.

Try not to let the bowling thing get to you too much (I know, easier said than done). It's SUPPOSED to be FUN! But I know some folks forget that part!

Squiddy, our team is pretty bad too (last year we were REALLY stinky). Our combined handicap is over 300 pins...and it makes some of the other teams SOOOO mad! They hate bowling us because they have to actually BOWL those 180+ averages they're so darn proud of!! We just go an do our best, have a good time, laugh, and are very happy when we bowl over our 120+ averages!

I love to bowl with teams like yours. Those that go out to have fun are my kind of teams Even though I have the 180+ ave ( I can say plus now I went up 4 pins ) I don't care if I have to get my average, as long as I am having a good time. The last I checked, nobody was handing me a large check at the end of the year. I even feel that way at tournaments, got to have fun, the only thing I'll pass on there is the beer lol.

I just can't bowl with DH, he seems to think that our games are of life and death. But the only death there would be is his, cause the man never gets off my back. He tries to be coach, and it kills me.
