What is/who for

confused3 is Valentine's Day for you? For me , it is for me and my hubby, my sweety. I did buy my DD some ballloons for school and I put 14 bucks in each of my boys checking accounts like I have been doing for eons.

I don't feel so inclined to wish everybody from the 7-11 girl to the shred man Happy Valentine's day. They aren't my sweety!!

Today, I bought the girls that staff my offices lunch, like I do every Wednesday. I did throw in dessert and drinks. I overheard the new girl ask one of the other girls why I did not do anything for them for Valentines Day I told her she wasn't sweety!!

So what is/who for is the big V day for you?

I agree with you, its only my DH.

In England the ONLY person Valentine is supposed to be for is your sweetheart: wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend.

NOT your children, teachers, kids at school, friends, work colleagues, pets.

Yeah, I feel the same. I only did valentines for my kids and DH.

I would feel a little strange handing them out left and right!

I do stuff for my kids and my DH. It would never occur to me to get stuff for co-workers or anyone else.
