Some Rides Show That It Has Video Captioning With An Activator Yo Get At Guest Services. Has Anyone Used This And Where Does It Work?

You would probably get your answer if you posted this on the disability board since it is used for guests that are deaf.

It is a red hand held (2005) device that puts out the “text” or scripts on certain rides or shows when someone is speaking. This technology will allows users who are deaf/hard of hearing to understand what is being said at selected attractions/rides/shows. I know they were set up for the English language but not certain about the compatibility for any other languages.

**On our 2005 trip we acquired one at the parks from guest services. They were set up to work at attractions at all four parks. There is an icon on the park maps where you can use this device. If memory serves me correctly a $100.00 deposit was required to get them from guest services. We just put the charge on our room key and had the fee removed at the end of the day.
