What is up with all the moved threads?

I have never seen so many threads being moved.

Looks like the moderation of the board is becoming more active and non-budget related topics are being moved to the Community Board mostly.

I understand the reason, but I'm always personally offended if my thread is moved. I've actually loved this board because it feels like MY community. I don't think I've ever even visited the community board. I better go there though, because I have a question that doesn't exactly fit here--even though it does sort of relate to saving money. Oh, I'm so confused , but I don't want my thread to have to be moved!

I had a question about a ROTH IRA and it got moved to the community board....I thought that it was budget related but guess not.

I've noticed that too over the past couple of weeks I thought maybe we got a new moderator on the Budget board. In all the years i've posted here i've never seen so many threads moved.

Yeah, a bunch of stuff that's actually budget related gets moved. I haven't really posted since then because whats the point when everything gets moved. Then it just goes to the community board and the thread usually dies.

ITA. I've seen several threads that were moved that maybe the title didn't reflect it but the content of the question was what I would have considered budget or money related.

I really miss the old budget board.

I just noticed the exchange thread, that's been here for a loooong time, got moved so I came over to see what is going on. I think that thread started out as a freebie-type thread and has evolved.

I thought I had just missed something since I haven't been around too much lately.

Right now there's a big chunk of moved threads, almost looks like 1/3 of the first page. Scanning the titles, it seemed like many of those were discussing budget related topics. I don't get it??

Then QVC/American Girl thread has been on the Budget board for about 3 years, but a question about that got moved as well. You can save some serious $ at that sale. Oh well, I'm confused, too, and probably won't post as much... This is my favorite board and usually the only one I read.

One of mine got moved today. I don't ever visit the community board either. I guess I'll go over there and see if I can find it. It was about cooking your own meals at Great Wolf Lodge (saving $$ was implied, I thought), but oh well. Off to search for it. . . --Katie

Yep, now the community board is getting flooded with moved threads. Nothing stays on page 1 for very long, so it's hard to keep a conversation alive.

Me four! I noticed it last night and thought it was odd because so much was $ related. I noticed that there wasn't hardly a thing here to read. I went to the community board for the 1st time ever but once I was there I didn't care for it.

This is the only thread I look at,too. For years now, I have RARELY seen something not money or budget-related. Hmph.
