What is there to do at the Poly?

We just changed our plans and have decided to stay at the Poly. I could really use some information on what there is to do there, for both kids and adults. And how much the diffrent things cost.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the poly last year and of course their is the pool,the two restaurants (ohana and kona cafe), captain cooks, stores, and an arcade. They also have kids activities such as Hula lessons and Make Your own Lai (the flower necklaces) (spelling???). And i believe the kids activities are FREE.

Yep, the activities in the Great Ceremonial House are free! Fun! Stuff like mask painting, how to make towel animals, etc!

There are also surrey bike rentals to bike around the gorgeous grounds, and boat rentals to tool around the lake.

The arcade is pretty good, though some games were broken. But it's fairly large compared to others we have seen on property.

You can play on the beach. Even though there is no swimming there, you can still play in the sand, and there are hammocks and seats.

There is watching the fireworks from the beach, as well as the electrical water pageant every night!

I second watching Wishes & the Electric Water Parade from the beach! We can't afford to stay at the Poly, but we watch Wishes & the EWP from the Poly beach every year as our first night tradition!

Don't forget to take advantage of Poly's great restaurants. Even their counter service-Captain Cooks-is exceptionally good & reasonably priced (for WDW I mean). It's the only other place in WDW that sells Dole Whips besides the MK. & be sure to grab an ADR for Kona breakfast for macademia nut pancakes & pressed pot coffee! Definately stop by the bar/lounge-there is a fantastic singer there!

You might want to look into the luau as well.

Oh you are going to love the POLY!!!!! Have fun!!!!!!! Eat at Ohana's it's great!!!!!! Watch the fireworks from the beach one night...it is awesome!!!
