What is the worst movie ever, in your opinion?

Definitely, Maybe was definitely horrible in my book. I also thought King Kong was bad. I hate Jack black

I think I would have to also add the Simpsons' Movie. Granted, Homer Simpson, is the best actor on the Fox Network, he just doesn't translate well to the big screen.

It's a toss up between The Thin Red Line and No Country For Old Men. Both are wastes of celluloid.

I am a huge Richard Gere fan. When I saw him hanging upside down in American Gigolo, I was hooked for life. Now, I will admit he has made some stinkers in his life, and I have always been loyal, but Autumn In New York was so very bad, I actually found myself rooting for her to die quicker just so the movie would end.

I just watched this movie again on Saturday, and love it SO much. One can't discuss/ agree on taste, right? :)

Plan 9 From Outer Space or Manos: The Hands of Fate

I absolutely hated the Fifth Element. My DH loved it though. Must be a guy thing. I remember leaving during the movie to go to the bathroom (just to get a break from this movie) and I wound up wandering around the lobby looking at movie posters. When I returned, DH didn't even realize I left.

I am a chick and I liked The Fifth Element. :confused3

Wow, I disagree with a lot of you, but that is what message boards are for, I suppose.

I hated Grease 2 and someone owes me two hours of my life back because of it.

I totally vote for Grease 2! I remember being about 7 or 8 and being so excited that they made a sequel to what I considered to be the greatest movie of all time, only to be disappointed. The only good part, in my kid-mind, was the Cool Rider song - DSis and I used to bust out a dance routine to that ditty, complete with turned up collar satin jackets. Then, we'd change the channel or turn it off.

Sideways. I just didn't get it. I didn't like the main character from the first 10 minutes. Ew.

Was bored stiff by this one. I wanted Virginia Madsen's character to tell the main guy to go *%&# himself at the very end.

American Beauty

:cat:

Didn't like this one, either. Wanted everyone to die at the end. I don't even see how this one was a triumph of acting. :confused3

Joe vs the Volcano.

God, this was awful. DH liked it and still sometimes makes reference to "brain cloud".

OH! Lost in Translation! Boring! Not funny at all like the clips had you believe. They took the only remotely funny pieces for an ad. So misleading. I didn't like Bill Murray in it. I usually love him! He needs to stick to being funny IMO.

I liked this one. I thought it was a very sweet, sad story.

Showgirls.

This looks funny as heck, though! [I haven't seen it except on VH1's "movies that rock".]

I worked at a movie theater all through high school and on college breaks, and for those years saw basically every movie that came out, because we got to go for free, and there was nothing else to do in my town. I sat through some incredible stinkers, but one film stood out as the all time worst: Married To It.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107523/

It was SOOOO bad. People started walking out about 20 minutes into it. By the end of the movie, the only people left in the theater were me and my sister, plus one other couple. The couple just looked at us and said "Why the heck did we sit through that??" Bad, bad, bad, I am telling you.

My other nomination for worst film of all time: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. Two hours of complete and utter torture.

When i was on college, I was in the PLAY "rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead". The play dragged on for over 3 excrutiating hours. I got a great write up in the paper though. I was The Player (Richard Dreyfus's role).

There's Something About Mary

:scared: DON'T remind me. The first time I saw this movie I went with my husband either right before or after we got married, and my new IN-LAWS.
:faint: I wanted to crawl under the seat and die. Talk about akkkkkward....
