It's not technically a board game, but last year for Christmas my daughter, 14 at the time, wanted the game Truth or Dare Jenga. If you aren't familiar with Jenga, it's a game where you stack up little rectangular shapes of wood, then each player tries to take one out without the other pieces falling down. The twist to Truth or Dare Jenga is that each wooden piece has writing on it and the player that takes out that piece must either answer the question written on it or perform the dare.
In theory it sounds like a fun game, but we all thought it was the dumbest game we'd ever played. The questions and dares were so ridiculous, (meow like a cat, pretend you're directing traffic, "are you the first or last to leave a party?"), they were laughable.
Now you may be saying maybe the game was intended for younger children. Nope, the box states it is a game for "adults". It also says "edge of your seat fun...with a twist."
And the picture of the people, adults, on the box playing the game, well, you'd think they were having the time of their lives! I do have to say, though, that by the end of the evening we were almost wetting our pants, (can I say that on Disboards?), from laughing so hard at making fun of the game!
Do you have a horrible board game lurking in your house?

We tried to sell them in a recent garage sale but all we got was "what the heck is Arch Rival?"
