What is the WOC opening date now?

I know this has been posted but to get a quick answer...when is the World of Color opening scheduled for? With all the WOC testing posts it sounds like things are coming along. We will be there April 24-May1 and although I can't wait to see it in the future, I hope it opens after our trip is over because we are on a crowd avoidance trip this time

I haven't seen the June 11 date over there. I have been seeing May 1 to June 1 with more emphasis on May 1.

Last year we the new Fantasmic dragon was supposed to be on stage but he had stage fright lol so we missed him the week we were there. He started a few weeks laters I think.

Actually, Murphy started a few weeks later and broke again. They did not get him going again til the fall. We missed him in August.

Darn! We will be there Mother's Day Weekend and I was already dreaming of sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine, checking it out . Maybe they will do a test run for all us moms?

So with WOC scheduled for June 1st do you think they'll extend the run of the Electrical Parade? Currently it's last day is Sun. April 18th which I understood was based on WOC debuting shortly after that.

My DNephew is in EP so I hope they do extend the run past 4/18.

We'll be there June 6-10. I'm already bummed about missing the Electrical Parade. That's one reason why we were going to DL instead of WDW this summer. I sure hope we at least get to see WOC!

i doubt it honestly. They still need to package and send it off to WDW by June...

We'll be there a week before you, May 15-22 and am bummed. Will fantasmic even be running? Or is our only evening entertainment the fireworks?

We'll be going in January after son finishes PD training..we only stay 1 weekend night..this was our scenario even before DVC with their high weekend points...so in January I'm sure they'll only be showing Fantasmic and WOC on weekend nights...Well, I bought DVC to take family so that's an excuse to go again. right?

To all those bummed about may and WOC, I have not seen any announcements from Disney that WOC will be in June. Last Al Lutz update said they were still on track for a May opening.

It looks like we will miss all three. We will be there the 23-28th. F! Will be back the night we leave and woc and Elec Parade will both not be showing.
It figures. A wdw vet makes her first trip out west and msep comes back to WDW! Ahh.
