What is the very least you would pack for WDW?

Etwinchester -

Fashion Bug?

You didn't want to buy your vacation wear at the cheesy boardwalk shops? Flourescent "Kiss me I'm _____" shirts are sooo in!

(we goto Wildwood ALL the time ;) )

OK, you'll think I'm crazy...chercrazy...that is... but on all our WDW trips, driving or flying the limit of clothes is 1/2 a suitcase full per person. There are six of us, and it's wayyyyy too much to pack, and unpack, and put away. I always do a couple of loads of wash while we're away. The idea is to pack for 4 days of vacation, that's about the halfway point at which a load of clothes gets done.

I am known to have found laundromats everywhere I go....Las Vegas, Bermuda, WDW, cruise ships. ::yes::

Wow- I read all your posts, and just realized I'm a serious overpacker!!! We are going for 7 nights/ 8 days, and am packing the following (look out, it gets pretty ugly  ):

-14 complete outfits each (DD, me, and DH) plus 2-3 swimsuits each, coverups, and beach sandals. I refuse to do laundry on vacation!!
-2 pr shoes for DH, 5 pr for DD, and 8 pr for me
-3 princess dresses for DD, with accessories (for character meals and MNSSHP)
-Toiletries for all of us
-Digital camera, disposable camera for me, Pooh 35mm camera for DD
-pin lanyard w/pins
-In-the-parks-stuff: ponchos, umbrellas, mister fan, backpack, Passporter pouch, first aid kit, sunscreen, bug spray, Shout wipes, hats for us all, Crystal Light On-the-go packets
-Passporter
-laminated daily itinerary and ADR# list
-lg cooler and bottled H2O, Gatorade, soda, and beer for the room
-DD's homework folder and books for keeping up with schoolwork
-"Tink" gifts for DD (except Mickey is the one that leaves them for DD)
-Halloween decorations for the hotel room window- and lime green Mickey heads for the door
-DH's down pillow- he won't go anywhere without it
-various stuffed animals and blankies/lovey pillow for DD- also a nightlight
-etc, etc, etc :rotfl:

For us, there is no such thing as "packing light". Good thing we drive- if we ever fly, we are going to be in trouble!!

Well, I guess you'll not have to buy anything while you're down there! :rotfl:

Except for the extraordinary amount of clothes and shoes most everything looks OK, especially since you are driving.

I'd think though that you'll be lugging a lot of unnecessary stuff to the parks. Do you have a stroller? If not, who will be carrying all that stuff? Won't it be a lot to handle every time you get on and off a ride?

All the other items are fun things to make your trip special. If you've planned so well to think of decorations and special gifts for your daughter then I think you should feel great about your thoughtfulness. :wizard:

(BUT 14 outfits and 8 pair of shoes!! :smooth: )

HAVE FUN!!!!

PS: I might be packing more than I originally thought, though I'm adamant about being light in the parks.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery!

Just try 13 outfits and 7 pair of shoes...baby-steps you know. :rotfl2:
