This question seems to be coming up a lot lately.
What is the Super Saver Rate?
The Super Saver Rate is an online rate whereby the longer you stay, the more you save. You must stay a minimum of 3 nights to qualify for the Super Saver rate.
Stays of one or two nights do not count.
The SS rate will go up on the weekends. Your confirmation will show an average nightly rate, by averaging your weekend rates and weekday rates.
Park tickets are not included.
To see if the Super Saver Rate is available for your stay, check here:
https://universalhotels.ibe.netbooker.com/web/FrontController.nb4?module=PropertySearch&operation=AreaPropertyAvailabilitySearch&execute=yes&instanceId=96&areacode=UER&areaname=Universal%20Orlando&ChainPropertyCodes=UEHRH+UEPBH+UERPR&lookAndFeelId=969&locale=en<br />
If the Super Saver Rate is available, you will clearly see the Super Saver Rate choice to select.
If it's not there, it's not available. Keep checking to see if it will be available.
No one here can give you odds on whether or not the SS rates will be/will become available. Things like conventions can eliminate the need to offer the Super Saver rate. For example, the SS rate is available at the HRH and PBH for our trip 4/28 - 5/3. It's not available at the RPR. Possibly due to a convention? Your guess is as good as mine. Best to just keep checking.
Loews First Benefits do indeed apply (e.g., upgrades, welcome gift, etc). LF Blue: go ahead and book the SS rate online. LF Gold/LF Plat: call to book your room, tell the reservationist that you see the SS rate available online, and you want to book that and get your upgrade. Further questions re: upgrades? Look here:
