What is the story on this pin?????

Hey gang help me out, being new at this… I got this pin off a cast members lanyard, what the story it just looked like a cool pin to me but I have not seen it before.

The Continuing the Tradition pin is a pin that was given to guests by managers. It is supposed to go to a guest who goes above and beyond to make pin trading a magical experience. I've heard different variations on how it's given out (for instance, we got ours quietly, Kathryn got hers after a speech by a supertrader), and what managers can give them out, but that's the main purpose of the pin.

It has become much more common lately, and I've heard rumors that some managers are only giving them to kids. Who knows? I believe it is similar to the Fast Pass pin, and is a large edition (heard from a supertrader it was about 10,000), but it's the difficulty in getting it that makes it desirable.

Dar, I also heard the edition size is 10,000. It is a little rare now but as time goes on it will be easier to come by.
