It isn't a voice mailbox but a recorded message about Spiderman. I just now called it again and you can only hear a message not leave one.

Actually it is a voice mailbox. Call it again. At the end, you hear a beep. If you press the pound key (#), it will give you typical voice mail options like making private or public.

Ahhh... I see. I did hear the beep at the end but since I didn't hear anything about leaving a message I just figured it was a beep to indicate it was the end of the recorded message.

Yep. They probably don't want to encourage floods of voice mail messages, so that is why it doesn't say to leave a msg. They'd have to hire another full time employee just to keep deleting the messages.

My niece just called it not knowing it was a voice mail and right after the beep she couldn't find the off button so now there's a message that just says 'Crap!' on it.
