Heard a mention of this, but do not know what this is. Is it a ride? Thanks, Jo

It's a ride. There's a cabin, I guess it could be called, that you sit in, and it revolves slowly around a pole, going up to the top, where you rotate for a minute or two, and then it goes back down. They charge $3 for the Skytower. It does give you great views of Sea World.

One of my clients went on the Sky Tower when they went to SW in December and loved it. Said it was awesome and well worth the $3. I thought it was alot more than that or I probably would have done it too.

If you know what you are looking for you can see Disney too I've seen TOT, SM, SE, Summit Plummit, and several other attractions there.

if you are a gold or silver passport member, its free to ride.

I didn't go up the Skytower in Seaworld with my family during our recent 2 day visit, because I thought it was a big ripoff! How many other theme parks have a separate charge to use one of their attractions? I'm glad to hear the view is great, but I know there are similar rides in other parks where they don't make you pay.

I'm not saying I agree with SW charging for the Skytower, but strictly from a supply/demand pov, I'd guess that the reason for the extra charge ISN'T for the $$$, but rather to keep the demand reasonable. Even with the extra charge, there's usually somewhat of a wait for the ride.

My 2 cents.
