Hello fellow Dis'ers! I am Canadian and thinking about heading over to the US on Saturday (actually just for a special meal for my son's birthday) but I dont think I will go if the store are crazy still. Are they quiet because everyone has been out for Black Friday and are DONE with it or is there residual crowds on the Saturday? Also, are all the shelves bare? I want to hit Target and maybe Khols but I would hate to see the stores without stock-please let me know what you r experience has been in the past-thank in advance for any advice

Our Target is usually somewhat busy but not crazy. There are some of the deals left as well.

In general, stores will be busier than normal from now until the first of the year because not everyone shops on Black Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are busier than during the week. However it will probably not be completely crazy again until the weekend before Christmas, which will be VERY busy.

As far as stock in the stores, expect most of the 'doorbuster' type sale items to be gone, but some will still be available. Stores will usually do a pretty good job of keeping most things in stock because they don't want people to go to their competitors. If there is some particularly hot item, it might be hard to find anywhere, but so far I haven't heard of any particular item that expected to be in short supply.

Sounds good-I knew I could count on this thread, you are all so helpful and smart too!

Some stores have special Saturday doorbuster items as well, but it's no where near as crazy as Black Friday.
