What is the room block savings?

I was just wondering what is the % off when you join someone's room block? & it's a room-only booking, right? You cannot add the DDP?

You are correct that you cannot add the DDP.

The %savings is usually around 10-15% at the values, about 20-25% off the moderates and 30% off deluxes. The caveat is that you save more off of the deluxes that have a convention center (Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Yacht/beach club, Boardwalk) than the rest if the deluxes.

The consultant should give you a list of resorts and price/night for your dates before you do your block.

Thanks! I actually already had my Disney wedding & we didn't do room blocks because Free Dining was going on. I was just wondering in case I wanted to join someone else's room block I sometimes see people posting asking for people to join their block.

Do you know if the discount only applies to a standard room at your chosen resort, or to any room that resort?
My sister wants to stay at the Family Suite in All Star Music and I wanted to know if the discount applied.

The suites are not discounted at the same rate. I believe they're discounted at 10% off. At least, that was the rate when we did our room block.

The best thing to do is ask the person whose room block you want to join what the rates are, since discounts fluctuate based on a variety of factors and only apply to specific room types chosen by the bride and groom.
