What is the Recycle Bin?

Well...that helps loads Bob!! LOL

I guess the DIS Recycle Bin is a well kept secret.:)

Okay...I can take a hint...I won't pursue it any further.:p

Since I can't put anything there, I really can't say for sure. I do know that sometimes when a moderator cleans up a thread (gets rid of a bunch of "bump" posts), I think they end up in the recycle bin. I would imagine if you posted a reply and then deleted it, it would go there too. Sort of like Windows, everything you delete actually goes to the recycle bin to give you the chance to change your mind.

How about if the moderators delete your posts?
I have a funny feeling there will be plenty of MY posts being escorted into the recycling bin ;)

Ahhhh...Thanks for the info Bob. It all makes sense to me now, lol.
If I had only seen moderaters post there, I wouldn't have questioned it.
I'll have to delete sometime and then run back quick and look to see if my name is there, LOL..

Thanks again :D :D :D

I think that it is only posts that are moved there by the moderators. I posted a reply here and then deleted it and it didn't go to the recycle bin.

Hmm...you must have to get one of the moderators to do it for you then, or as in Mr. StormAlong's case, they will take it upon themselves, LOL.

I have seen non-moderator names there...must just be the name of the person who's post was deleted then.

Man, what a brain drain tonight has been! hehe

I'm off to dreamland.......Goodnight :D
