I think that if you put somebody on ignore that they can't click to PM you??????

On a true public board, there may not be so much you can do. But, the DIS is more of a private and moderated board.

I put the person on ignore y'day after the first PM that was not the nicest (v. insulting/derogatory). I was dumb enough to respond in a "thanks but whatever" type note. The 2nd one came this afternoon. I PM'd the person back and told them if they didn't stop harassing and insulting me, I would turn them into the mods.

I did have the person on my ignore list ... don't know why they got through!?!?

Thanks ... I will see what happens in the next day or two. If the person leaves well enough alone, then I will consider it dropped. If they continue the PM's, then I will report.

I'm not telling any more. I don't want to get into any trouble for broadcasting the whole scenario here and turning the whole thing into a big escapade.

If you put them on your ignore list, you shouldn't see their posts *OR* their PMs.

Putting them on ignore is the protocol.
