What is the procedure for depositing points into RCI?

Like many other DVC members, I have a whole bunch of 2020 points (some even borrowed from 2021) that will expire if I don't use them soon due to Covid-19.

Since I obviously don't want to lose these points, can someone please detail the procedure and rules I must abide by in order to deposit my points into RCI. From what I understand, this will allow me to preserve these points fur use at a non DVC resort over the next 2 years.

Any assistance, suggestions and instructions would be greatly appreciated since I believe many DVC owners are in the same boat I'm in!

You are correct. I saved 130 points this way, had to let 3 points go because you must deposit in increments of 10 (I think that was it.)

It is best to call member services and have it handled while on the phone.

Use the link from the DVC account when you are logged in to browse inventory accurately. Note that any of the destinations that are all-include have a large additional fee on top of the points. And many have a smaller resort fee as well.

Right now borrowed points are still being returned last time I checked. They do a sweep on Thursday’s to pick them up. Sometimes it takes two weeks for it to catch them all.

I’d call today and make sure it’s still the case for at least the borrowed points.
